OMG after I filmed and edited the video, I realized I’ve confused the name once again. It should be Le Pliage, NOT Le Pilage 😳 I’m so sorry. Please ignore it and enjoy the rest of my video.
Also, the totes I own are the shoulder bag versions in L. In the video, I inserted pictures that were labeled as S.

Great review =) I just got the Longchamp Le Pliage - ''Neo'' version and it's actually made of a more durable canvas material that's thicker and holds it form better than the original and club version. Maybe check it out if you want better durability.

Thank you for watching and for the great suggestion! I didn’t know the Neo was made of a different material. Do you know if the corners have a tendency to develop holes like the original and club bags do?

@@imlena4001 Yep, the material is a thicker canvas-like nylon, the zipper is wider, and overall more durable. Holes can still develop on the bottom folded corners, but Ive seen others use it for years before that happens. Though it can mostly depend on usage and way its treated :)

Yes, totally agree with you on the last part. I got my pink Club not long ago so I think it’ll last me for a while. After that one, I’ll most likely go for a Neo 👍🏻

FYI Longchamp will repair the wear on the corners for free once in the bag's lifetime, and then for a pretty low cost after that. I believe they just cut the corners very slightly and re-sew, so the bag will be a teeny tiny bit smaller each time it's repaired.

@@wandawidya3737 i believe it's just one free repair per bag, so I think it can be anything, don't know for sure though. i've heard further repairs after that are quite reasonably priced, but i've never had to do that so can't confirm

Love me a Longchamp tote! I reviewed one of mine last year and we actually have the same one (in the blue that you sold) Mine has held up well enough though even after 9 years and being used as a beach bag, except for the corners which are hole-y now too hehe. I LOVE YOUR CLUB ONE!!!🥰

Thanks for this review! love your honesty 😂💜 I had a classic one and the holes happened for me after 3 years or so. I want to get a new one but I am hoping if I use a organizer that it would maybe prevent the holes!

Hi Krystal, great question! I am a little over 5’6. I think height is not an issue when it comes to the size of the bag. The main thing is you want to think about what you need to carry in your bag.

Thinking of getting myself an original Le Pliage Original. But yeah like you said the 4 tears at the bottom of the bag really annoying. Maybe I need to rethink. Anyway, thank you for the review! 😉

Thanks for stopping by! The holes are evenly ripped in all 4 corners and that makes me so mad haha. It feels like someone is messing with me on purpose 😅😂

Longchamp has excellent customer service and will repair the bags for free. I’ve had the corners of my two bags repaired.

That’s good to know! Do they sew the holes closed? I’m assuming it would have to be at the official Longchamp store right?

@@imlena4001 No, I think they take the nylon in, you wouldn’t notice there’s been any work done, it looks brand new. I don’t mean they clean the bag 😃 but the repair is not visible. I’ve had one bag repaired twice. My clumsy boyfriend managed to damage the zip, I took the bag to a Longchamp store (to answer your other question) and the first repair was free, but for the second one (zip) they charged €25. They didn’t ask for proof of purchase or anything. They sent the bag to France for the repair and I collected it from the store when it arrived. If there aren’t any official stores near where you live, I’m sure you can get information about repairs on their website.

Hi Sara, so sorry for the late response! I missed this comment. The one I have is the Large club. Hawthorn is a very cute color🥰 it’s perfect for summer. The pictures of the lady carrying the bag for S and L on the Longchamp website are very misleading.

P.S. i ended up buying the Large tote, (black) carmel color straps, TODAY, Bought from Nordstrom, because the straps are 9 3/4, and at Bloomingdales , the “same bag,” the straps are only (8 inches!) So I was glad I read ALOT of Reviews on the totes! I didnt know, the totes have short straps (that nobody likes), on some of the same totes!!!!! So be careful, both bags had identical price, $155.00!

How long did you use bag when you notice wholes in corners? I use mine for almost 4 years now and have absolutely no issues.

I started seeing holes after using it on a daily basis for one year. I was carrying my laptop and notes to school, so maybe the heavy weight exacerbated the problem.

I have a pliage club bag in black and holes in the corners have developed after 1 1/2 year. A Longchamp SA told me that the weight u put inside and the sun exposition impacts on the development of the holes.

I would say this is close to fuchsia, maybe think of a plum color. It’s pinkish/purplish/reddish lol

Hi! Mine hasn’t had color transfers but that’s because I’ve been cautious to use it around darker jeans. I would say any kind of light-colored bags, unless coated, is going to get some degree of color transfer. This pink bag is not coated.

Hi! I just checked the dimensions for you and no it won’t. Usually a 13 inch laptop is (LxH) 32.5cm x 22.5cm. The Medium bag is 30cm x28cm.
