Talking about amouage, you used to have fate woman. I bought a sample of it after you introduced it in your video. What a phenomenal perfume that was. Amouage classics are really a great competitor to the new indie perfumery tbh!
Glad the light at the end of winter is starting to show Pep ☺️ really good list and the disclaimer is so true- it really does vary with longevity down to body chemistry and environment among other things. Oh and those Serge bottles agreed- why are they like that 😂 you look at that gorgeous bottle for Habanita and then think why didn’t they do that! Those bottles don’t do the perfumes justice! Have a great weekend Pep ☺️
So strange to watch this in the scorching heat of Italy. Great selection! 👏🏼❤️ You inspired me to put on Knize Sec which I bought several days ago. Found an amazing 100 yers old shop here (Profumeria Walkiria in Viareggio) and they had Knize. The leather in the 10 reminded me of Jolie Madame a bit. Marco who was just fantastic let me smell the Sec and I totally fell for it. It’s quite an enigmatic shape shifter character. Have you ever smelled it? I managed to get a bottle of Grandiflora Jasmin as well which is no longer distributed here. I was extatic. Funnily with Habanita in the winter I can just keep spraying it. It’s almost like it blinds me to the point that can’t get enough and I just need another hit. Le Lion is so strong that I haven’t even opened the bottle yet because the sample is still going strong. Still happy that I bought it though because Chanel is so kind to jack up the price whenever they can.
A scent I’m looking forward to wearing in these colder months is one that is slept on by pretty much everyone, including myself haha I’ve had it in my collection since its launch in 2018 and worn it only a handful of times. I sprayed it the other day and thought to myself, this is so amazing, why in the world haven’t I given this more attention? It’s Diptyque’s 34 Boulevard Saint Germaine Eau De Parfum.
It has been a long winter, even for us up here! And a wet week ahead, no less 😅 Looking forward to spring, just like you, Pep! Usually enjoy wearing Tauer #2, Dior Homme intense, Heritage, Ombré leather, Ormonde man and Oud Fleur when it’s cold.
Great list, Pep. Not sure how I’ve managed after all these years but I still have yet to try anything from escentric molecules but as a big iris fan, this one sounds like a great place to start.
@@TheScentinel Yes, to my deeper, darker scents like smoky vanillas and incense that I don’t wear in summer. We have two months of 100 degree temperatures.that I barely tolerate. I stay indoors as much as possible and avoid the sun.
Yay so glad you made this video. I've been exploring fall/winter fragrances and hoping to find some with a greater longevity. I'm a huge fan of tobacco fragrances and Maison Margiela's Jazz Club is one of my favorites, but it doesnt last as long for me as I've seen others say it does. So definitely looking to expand my list for new fragrances to try. Thank you for taking the time to make this video ❤
@@TheScentinel ahhh yes. I want to smell the eau de bougies line when the samples drop 🤞 Chipmunk reminds me of the smell of my favourite Aunt's cottage and she passed in '95, so it was a huge olfactory flashback for me and that's why I love it, but it is simply a beautiful scent and totally represents the little chipmunks
Killer list. So informative and great descriptions. 👌Great channel for all ages but esp 35 + men. Check out Akro Smoke if you haven't. A take on Tom Ford's Noir Extreme that is more coherent and focused without being one dimensional.
Very nice selection Pep! I’ve been curious about most of these perfumes mentions. Knize ten has always been on my filed away wish list because it’s a classic and of how cautious I am approaching leathery fragrances. I have smelled Gucci Guilty Absolute and thought…”where’s my mink oil to go with this?!” It was too much leather for me 😅haha. Is Knize ten on that freshly chemically tanned deer hide level? Or does it blend in nicely with the floral ambery dry down like you mentioned? I do like some leathers in perfume though! Cheers
I have yet to try Habanita. I must search this one out because I've heard so many good things about it. And the Leather Jardin is a bomb. It's almost too strong for me. What are your thoughts on Antaeus? Seems like it's a solid EDT for winter.
