In the history of r&b singers like Mya, Tinashe, Cassie, Tamia, Mariah Carey etc who are considered light skin or yellow bone black women have never thought to put out a song like that because colorism does exist why on earth would Dani? Dani has insecurities & it shows. Take accountability, don’t be defensive/play victim, do better & hopefully your daughter won’t follow in your footsteps🐤.

I do think that DaniLeigh feels she is ugly. I mean, she is not really attractive. In her community, she is not a dime. That's why she panders to the black community. She maybe knew, or learned that the colorist black men like her kind. That's why she felt happy, when colorist black men like DaBaby and Chris Brown hyped her up. She then thinks like them, and think that black women of darker complexion are benneath her, and she has the upper hand (due to colorist black men hyping her up). But she can't walk with this same kind of confidence in her community, because the men of her community would not find her feminine, let alone they would not find her beautiful.

Prince was the ultimate Colorists and groomer during his life. So, let's get real about why he gave her a chance and it was not about her "talent." Even her dancing, which is cool, but we've all seen better. However, with all that, even having preferential looks does not mean you will be treated like you are preferential which a lot of the yt/yt Mestizos/yt Latinas/yt Hispanics find out the hard way. They're often deeply jealous of Blck women and a lot of these Blck men are also deeply jealous of Blck women, which unites them but makes for a poor basis for a relationship which is why they have the highest rates of divorce amongst all I.R's and why the majority of Blck biracial children are in fatherless homes. It is comically ironic how they wanted, and are deeply jealous of, the Rhythm of Blck women yet are getting the Blues of it en masse. 🥴

I will never forget the first time I heard Dani back in 2019. I just left my boo house driving down the road and “Easy” came on. That song was a vibe and I instantly became a fan. Sadly she is a colorist and as a black woman, I can no longer support her. I do believe if she would have not made that racist song, had no DUI, etc she would be an A-list celebrity right about now due to her looks and being a vibe.

I refuse to believe that friendship with Prince was platonic, that man been a whole predator no matter how talented he is. It’s not a coincidence she was only 18 (easy to take advantage of and control) all the other stuff yeah she’s fucked up for that.

She’s the prime example of how a man can bring you down. If she wouldn’t never got with him none of this would’ve happened. The red flag was there, he slick had that baby on her he definitely had it with her.. Then she wanted to beef with his babymama and that took her either farther down.

I feel like alot of these non Black artists we see in the media aren’t really all that talented to begin with. It’s like they study talented Black artists/creators and mimic what they do which is why their art is always lacking something. She strikes me as one of these types and when you pair that with being a colorist/racist, fightin over community 🍆, and now her recent DUI/hit and run and it’s just way too much negativity for her targeted Black audience to continue to support her. It’s actually embarrassing how many of us still supported her after flexing her complexion on MiMi. Appropriating Black culture and having light skin is only gonna take you so far in the entertainment industry.

I think Dani is the epitome of the colorist Latinos. I am an indigenous Mexican and was constantly bullied by the mestizos growing up for being "dark" and an "india". the blatant racism is something our community will NEVER admit. I also saw a white Dominicans girls tiktok page where she stated that people don't believe she's Dominican because she's pretty.. aka white passing. Also, its really weird and BIZARRE that dani claimed to be a "light skin".. why did she pretend to be black... I have many things to say about the baby but this video isnt about him. Dani should have been smart and assessed the situation... the man is constantly playing you, youre on and off, but you STILL decided to have his kid and be bound to him for life?!

Every time I hear Dani talk, I just hear inauthenticity. I don't feel like that's her real accent or speaking voice. It feels so forced to me, and I find it so sad because she's imprisoned herself in a Black adjacent persona as a whole colorist. Sad.

What women like DaniLeigh not understand is, that black women/girls are the main ones who support the black men/boys in the music industry. The same way the white women/girls are the main ones who support the white men/guys in the music industry. And this goes for all ethnicities. So, when DaniLeigh or any other non-black woman thinks, that she can diss black women and still be with a black men, then some, if not majority of black women will no longer feel attached to the black guy (rapper, R&B musician, etc.). Which he then no longer have the cheering black women/girls as fans. Sure, there will always be some exceptions, but for the most part, if your main audiance are black women, then you will no longer get the same support like at the beginning of your career.

That DUI situation is so bad. I hope that person makes a full recovery, money, and just more. That is so bad.

I don't blame DaBaby for her mess. It was all her fault. She could have dated him (on off, whatever), but what made her a disgusting person was, when she started to compete against Mimi. Instead of focusing on her career, she was starting to feel the "better" girlfriend due to her lighter skincolor, and that is where her downfall started. She was more invested to "take" DaBaby from his baby mama, and to show the world, that she is the better one for him, to just end up being a baby mama, and now with DUI charges. I'm maybe the only one, but I don't like her dancing. She is probably good in the technique of dancing, but she has no grove in her dancing. She has an imitating kind of dancing, where she imitates the dances/behaviour of males. She looks like she has not her own personality, she imitates the estatic, the behaviour (the typical young boys walking style, clothing style, etc.) of other people.

Moral of the story if you know you a bright growing young lady don’t you EVER let a man be the reason why you lose your shit , or most importantly lose your MIND .

As for the Afro-Latinos part, I cannot believe that Black people think that having someone like Danileigh to speak on the Afro-Latino experience is ok. It’s not okay. She’s not Afro-Latina. Also, just because someone looks racially ambiguous does not make them half Black. I can say more, but I am going to end it here😭💯
