Duties and responsibilities of VG is very important in our state. Accordingly they served with dignity but due to low salary they're facing hardship and untold obstacles in their life. With 3000 salary per month they have to look after the family, holding prestigious position in the village people count upon them. So many deductions within the village camp and outside too. Any dispute arises between the village, the NVG at the forefront in the battles and any criminal act in the village the NVG have to attend and handle all the responsibility for the village and guarding the village. They performed the duties as same as police personnel.

Nagaland government might have forgotten VGs. They should have their own designated Base Camp like that of other Armed forces. And most importantly, how can they survive with that Petty salary of ₹3000/- per month,,.?? In reality, their duties are hectic and had to face all kinds of dangerous elements. If the VG stop doing their duties or there is no VG in the ENPO im sure there will be a war in entire INDIA, because of VG there is no intruders so far. Unlucky the so call Nagaland stage government is not willing to increase their salery or look into their problems. Which is often I can say ignorance. Omg...This is so unfair how can a hard working men get a salary of 3000 rupees,It's better they leave this job n work has a sweper in private company where they can get a salary upto 7thousand to 10 thousand rupees..I work in a private company and in 1 month my working day will be 2 or 3 day's only and get a salary of 5000 ....see the difference omg
