This is the longplay of The Addams Family, an action and platform game that was released for multiple platforms. This is the SNES version, produced and distributed by Ocean Software, having been released in 1992 only in the United States and Europe.
The story involves Abigail Craven scheming to obtain The Addams Family's secret wealth. To do this, she brainwashes Uncle Fester, who has just lost his memory of him, into being an ally, and is also aided by The Judge and the Addams' family attorney, Tully Alford, who takes control of the mansion. Morticia Addams, Pugsley Addams, Wednesday Addams, and Granny go to the house to meet with Tully on the property, only to be kidnapped within it by Abigail.
When Gomez Addams arrives, he sees that all the members of his family are in danger and sets out to rescue them inside his huge mansion.
The game is action and platform, somewhat reminiscent of Super Mario games. Gomez can defeat enemies by jumping on top of them or using weapons such as swords and even balls. In addition, Gomez also has items that increase speed and others that give invincibility. Dollar signs serve as coins and can grant Gomez extra lives. It's a good game, despite being simple, it's quite complex and requires a lot of exploration to rescue the whole family.
