Your entire routine must have taken time, patience and determination. Making corrections and learning along the way. You live in a beautiful country, keep up the good work.
Its cool to see Norma loading the Berger Hybrids. Also cool to see you shooting them way out in Norway. I just recently went on a tour of the Berger facility. Here in California. It was awesome. Dammn good stuff.
Very good shooting ! Why don't you rotate the rear cap 45 degrees to the right, so that it doesn't "cover" your elevation turret's reading and you won't need to raise your head to check correct click input (breaking your shooting position) ?
Kan du forklare i litt mer detalj hvordan du beregner gradene på "windcalls" . Er wind fra nord tilsvarende 0 grader og vind fra øst er tilsvarende 90 grader?
I have a similar setup with the RPS bipod on a Blaser R93, but the rifle stock is not stiff enough and sometimes it puts pressure on the barrel when I pan on the bipod. Did you reinforce your Blaser stock?
No. Not on the R8 and not on the R93. I've never had that problem but I have heard other shooters report the same thing with their stock. I can only speculate that is has something to do with production batches, but that is a wild guess from my side.
Consider how wide the barrel channel is on your rifle. Our R8 has the match / safari cut. Perhaps opening up the channel would give you more room? -Marky
It is RPS, Rifle Precision System. A Norwegian company. I'd also look at Elite Iron, it is one of those bipods I am very curious about. The Blaser pin sells from Vertebrae.no
