I did not expect to film this video, as the fountains do not operate until May and I was visiting in April, but I was able to catch some unexpected footage of the fountains testing!
This is not part of a fountain show, just testing of the fountains in the "off-season"
You can even see the bottom of the basin is not filled with water as it normally would be during a fountain show.

I'd like to mention, I'm going there this Monday and am hoping to see some of the fountains turned on at least, I'm also hoping the Chimes Tower's lower staircase is open this time as opposed to my 2017 visit. If I see them testing the fountains (which won't probably happen) I will try to tape some of it. I mainly can't wait to see the other amazing fountains.

The lower fountains in the octagonal basins have been turned on for about a week now (no shows). The staircase should be open as well. Things can always change however. Best of luck!

@@FountainChannel thx, I did expect that to happen. I mainly hope the upper portion of the fountain garden is accessible because I would think the view of the Chimes Tower would be beautiful. I mainly don't want to be too close to it because I bet it's LOUD! I don't know how loud it is though so I hope to get some kind of response before I leave for Longwood on Saturday.

@@Laserashton Only the fountains that shoot up into the air called Titan jets are loud. Once you hear them for the first time it’s not bad at all and all the kids around love them. I would not expect these specific fountains to be on until May 6th however.

@@FountainChannel Yeah, I'm actually really used to Loud water fountains, I was just wondering that the chimes tower and carillon are really loud when over by the waterfall. I could hear the carillon play from the Conservatory when I visited in 2017 during the renovations

I actually visited in April of either 2017 or 2016 during my April Break, the Chimes Tower was closed due to the construction and everything closed reopened on May 23 I believe, I'd visited Longwood all the way back in 2011, 2012, or 2013 but I'm not really sure about the dates.

Yes, construction lasted 2014 -2017 and everything officially reopened May 27th, 2017.
