Join me on a walk around Longyearbyen, the world's northernmost settlement. Longyearbyen was established 120 years ago as a mining town, and has since transformed into a modern research centre and hub of Arctic tourism.
This walk begins at the cruise port and then continues into the town centre, passing by some of Longyearbyen's major attractions.
This video is shown in real-time and includes guided commentary both on the screen and as an audio guide.
This was filmed early in the morning on the 31st of March 2024, which also happened to be Easter Sunday.
