I do hope pasudlan nani nila once ma restore na ang tower sir. I have been working sa cebu since late 2015 until march 2019 but wala jud sila nagpasulod to give the viewers that ‘360’ view sa cebu skyline

Problem with sm they are more smarter than the architect engineers. The original design is not square but rounded glass observation tower. They know its closed to the sea and wide open spaces they decided to go with their own will just to save money . Well now you fixing it next time the whole tower will be gone you dont know whats next to come maybe a more bigger we are embracing a global warming unpredictable weather always on the horizon

The aluminum cladding did not resist the wind load strenght of the typhoon odette..some kilo pascal computation of its windload might miss by the installer..if its materials is expose to this kind of weather element its subject to failure of its material installed pronge that supports the cladding.suggestion for SM look for the co. Hunter Douglas phl..that installed the cladding of high rise tower of twin Petronas malaysia..installed b filipino contractors base in basak, mandawe Cebu..composite cladding supplied by Hunter Douglas and untill now still standing without tearing and broken alu cladding..also the srp gokongwei syudad de la victoria alu cladding was also teared down so as the newly build canopy of Citi mall at n. Bacalso ave.

SM had the chance to make a more iconic tower design but they opted for this boring design. Sa mga nangutana unsay purpose aning tower, aside sa viewing deck, it is supposed to function as a lighthouse too. Wa gyud napuslan.

Manguta lang ko, unsa man gyud ang anang tower nga gitukod diha sa SM Seaside, ingun cla obser- vation tower kno ug naa telescope for viewing ug uban sab revolving resto kno, asa man gyud tinood ug ngano wala pa man ba mo open hangtud ron.

Na damage na lang sa supertyphoon Odette wala gyud na nila i-open to mall goers to enjoy viewing the magnificent view surrounding SM seaside. So sad. I hope that after its repair, the mall management would decode to open it to the public kay basin abtan na sad ug earthquake, hahaha. Sorry sir Gawens, nagpahungaw lang kos akong true feelings about that. SM shopper ra ba gyud ko sir.
