AC/DC are the GOAT of rock and roll. Check out their official video for Back in Black, arguably the most iconic hard rock song of all time, released in 1980. These guys have written more classic riffs and songs than any other band. This year is their 50th anniversary, in fact.
Although they started in Australia, The Youngs (Angus, Malcolm) and Bon Scott (their 2nd singer, brought them to stardom) were all born in Scotland. They moved to Australia when they were kids for their parents to get work.
Here is a list that you should try (in any order): -Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) -Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian) -Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) - The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian) - Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon) - Thunderstruck - Live at River Plate or Donington - (with Brian) -For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
I disagree , and this is coming from a River Plate ⚽ fan. They get like that no matter who plays there. It gets 10 crazier when my home team River Plate plays ⚽ at the stadium . That's where the 1978 World Cup was held ⚽🏟️.
This song if famous for the main riff and for having the best rhythm guitar ever written, even better than main guitar, At the 2:15 the song really starts
Check out the Donington show . Better than the River Plate. I was at the River Plate show and they're like that no matter who plays there . But it's 10 crazier when my home team ⚽ River Plate plays .
This era of the band with Brian Johnston started in 1980 after the death of lead singer and frontman, Bon Scott. I prefer Brian’s vocals but Bon Scott was the man for a live performance. For the best of AC / DC live you need to react to their live videos from Live At The Apollo, about 1978 / 79 or earlier. Let There Be Rock is a good starting point. AC / DC is Australia’s biggest international act, but Cold Chisel is our favourite rock band. Do yourself a favour and check out Wild Thing from The Last Stand Tour, 1983
