@@sweetproject6337 Chainsaw Man is pretty perfect tbh, it's one of the most consistently amazingly-looking shows. It wasn't 100% faithful to the manga in terms of character designs but if that's all it takes to call an anime garbage than almost everything that has ever been animated is garbage.

what happened with chainsaw man artstyle? havent read the last 50 or so chapters.

@@reonrrrr to be frank, the art has very obviously gone downhill. Serviceable, but in comparison to part 1, it's somewhat sloppy and occasionally seems rushed at times

@@noelbabu1503 Haruka Nakmura is most well known for his song Lamp, which he created with Nujabes! But my personal favorite from him is Sad Premonition/Lilium. It’s so atmospheric and bittersweet with the way it slowly becomes distorted. The vibe of that song specifically really makes me think of Look Back- I even remember listening to it while I read the manga! That’s why I was so happy to see he is working on the music, it’s like it’s meant to be :)

They didn't want something clean but chaotic and rough which is sad to see because Fujimoto is all about movies and cinematography. Wouldn't say its the same visual style but they both have the aim of like you said being more cinematic. S1 already had dull/soft colours but they're intensifying it with a flatter style with Reze's arc similar to the movie I'd say
