Let's be honest------- this is a demotion. You're going from headlining your own show in prime time to a new morning show as a co-host with two of CNN's adjunct on-air talents. If this morning show doesn't deliver ratings (bets are out that it won't), you'll be parting ways with CNN for another venture. I refuse to believe this is a voluntary step up for Don Lemon. It doesn't pass the logic test.
WRONG t- he has mentioned leaving his show for 2 years. He wants a change, and got what he wanted. When his contract ends, I expect he will retire, hang out at Starbucks, and yell lock him up whenever he sees lyin donnie.
No it isn't. Morning shows do just as well and often better. What this probably means is he's looking to start a family. You are bad at logic. Adults don't want to work his current hours.

They are going to shuffle him around until he quits. This is considered being demoted nothing more than that. It is concerning to me how many people don't grasp that.
My favorite moment was when he told Morgan Freeman “this is over” reference racism and then went on to stoke racial fires for several years. That was a good one.
My favorite is Tucker Carlson claiming that "he didn't know any racists of Nazis" then his head writer getting kicked off the show weeks later for LITERALLY being a racist spouting Nazi propaganda online and Tucker having to take a sudden "vacation"
My other favorite is the CONServative "birther" movement that whined and b!txched for eight years about Obama's birth certificate, because for some strange reason they couldn't believe he was "American" I wonder what's different about Obama that would make them question the citizenship of a sitting president? What could it be? Hmmmmmmm And guess who was the poster boy for that bigoted movement? Well look at that? It was Trump himself. How cute.
They were the BEST DUO ever on any news station. I missed Chris so much I almost quit CNN right then when he was gone. But stayed for Don Lemon. But without Chris the spirit was gone. But now Seeing Don leave after he gave so much as did Chris CNN can (is going to hell). Erin Burnett, Wolf Blitzer & Jake Tapper are all I care to see on CNN anymore.

When your boss asks you to take a position following a demotion, they're not asking you, they're telling you. They are asking you out of courtesy, but they are suggesting that you take it or you would have been fired. Same thing would have happened if you told them that "Don Lemon Tonight" is your show. Also, they didn't want to fire you immediately because they would have been accused of racism.

It did start peacefully until at some point at the makeshift Memorial a policeman let the patrol dog pee on it and a patrol car came along and ran over it. In my opinion that is the police department saying we killed him and we are killing your right to mourn him and protest his death. Besides the overwhelming protests were peaceful. It's just that you don't get 24/7 news coverage of people peacefully gathering to proclaim that black lives matter.

The internet and streaming has been increasingly hurting cable over the years. People are just spoiled for choice and it explains the viewership. Now, this only holds true for more liberal people, this outward diaspora to other media. Nothing against him but lately I could tell how much he’s been trying to push on things that either weren’t true or didn’t have enough evidence/facts to back them but I guess he thought it was true or his bosses wanted him to push on those I don’t know but lately it was hard to recognize him compared to what he used to be. As if he lost his personality…I don’t know how to explain just felt different. Hope he will be good and fine. I can’t recognize CNN in general unfortunately to me it lost its reputation as a reliable source. It’s just my opinion.
