Sorry Dude... U Either Simply Mistaken or u don't KNOW Ur Systems... Thats NOT a GameCube, That My Non-Friend Is A SNES.. aka... Super Nintendo!! ONE OF THE BEST SYSTEMS OF ITS TIME WITH GREAT GAME SELECTION!! Thanx! Josh Cyr (From Maine)
@@mrcyr5685 first of all it says they discounted the price to 209 dollars for the gamecube which it says the regular price for it is 249. Also dont sign your name at the bottom like I give a fuck, you R-tard - dgaf (nobody cares)
@@tbug50 pretty much. But that was because I just lived in the south where it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I’m thankful that we moved out to the city as I am not ok being associated with the hill billies out south.
@@Mr.2GD An example would be say you want Metal Gear Greatest Hits for the PS1 right now. An ebay seller is selling it for 35 bucks, these guys have it for 65
From my experience packing something I can never have something NOT move. Was packing something for a friend and something moved and no matter how hard I tried something moved but guess what? The package arrived safely.
I swear this man has built this company's social media presence up so drastically. I have seen so many of these videos over the past year or so and literally... the only reason I know about this company is because of his media presence here on RU-vid. Go Joey!
@@jerminator0688 the console is probably not gonna slip out but the two controllers and cartridges were wrapped with an almost laughable lack of effort. Just putting them in the square of bubble wrap and pinching a corner.
Hi, Do you guys cushion the bottom of the box before placing it all inside? Pointless packing the top of the box when the bottom is unprotected, just with a small amount of craft paper or bubble wrap etc.
Yeaaah, I was thinking that too. Honestly though, it probably doesn't make a difference as the point of the stuffing/filler is to pack the box so as nothing moves. The products are already wrapped, so adding more on the bottom is kind of pointless.
@@enokdnb7388 Its not pointless. Delivery drivers are often careless and throw the boxes around. The console can easily break if it's not fully cushioned on all sides away from the edges of the box.
In the pass he looks more human, i mean more like he would we normally day by day but now its always energetic and Happy with ultra fast edits, before he talks slowly and looks like any other worker now its face of dk.
Not bad, but if you want to be extra safe have a plastic lining around the contents inside to prevent them from getting wet. I work at a package sorting facility and I've seen a PS5 box get ruin by water damage
True, I personally seal all my bundles in nice layers of bubble wrap and tape it all up so at least if water does get inside, it has to fight it’s way through multiple tight layers of bubble wrap, it at least makes it a lot more water resistant than just a square of bubble wrap with a game in it like a plastic tortilla :’)
I ordered from Dk oldies once and it took 2 months till I got my order. It was the worse experience I had with buying games. I kept going back and forth with the so called customer support they said it was coming from china some where. And when I finally got my games they were all fake repro games when the description said authentic. Now I don't know if this is real or the same scammers I dealt with.
Thought it would be wrapped in gold seeing as you take advantage of people that do know better by charging at least double if not more of what prices should be. You should be ashamed for ripping people off, even more so now that the economy is in shambles
Hey Joey how old are you buddy? I ask because I think we are about the same age and it’s nice to have retro gaming fans my age on social media. You do a great job btw - you MAKE DK oldies
I’ve bought multiple complete games from you guys and it always comes in amazing condition, thank you guys for taking the time and care knowing that we are buying retro stuff to keep forever 👍🏻
So like I only bought 3 things from here but the official N64 controller I bought from dkoldies is way better than my original one I’ve always had so this a W in my book (Mercari solos)
Feel free to request an original by indicating that in your order notes. Most customers don't care but we're happy to help collectors with special requests whenever we can
@@HeavenJ701 These people price their consoles close to how they were priced at launch, so its actually cheaper to go with eBay if anything. Not to mention the third party controllers (unless you pay $50 for originals) often are low quality and break more easily under normal usage; though no one cares too much about cables as long as they work you’re right.
@@drizztdourden666 exactly I buy a ton of games on eBay way better prices I rarely have issues and the few times I did I got my money back with the ebay money back guarantee Also I never buy from people with those generic photos if they're too lazy to post pictures showing exactly what you get I look at other sellers
@@lemonlime8949 No they’re not lol. There’s a ton of physical stores that don’t mark up prices like this. I’m Willing to bed these stores as well have a lot more overhead cost than This site, and still charge less
@@tyst5927 yeah but you’re paying extra for that guarantee of quality. Sure you can buy a ps2 for cheaper but how do you know it won’t come in all wrecked and inoperable?
@@mrgodsir6907 personally i try and get stuff from local retro game stores. They always test the consoles there before the go and they make sure the games play. Plus they are good prices. Just recently got a PS2 slim for a very reasonable price and it works like a dream and is in great condition.
If you get on this stores Facebook group you can’t even mention prices of consoles, I wonder why a middle man mark-up store doesn’t want prices discussed?
Just had a look on the online store and fuck me everything is pricy as fuck. N64 with 2 aftermarket controllers for over $200???? In japan I picked up an n64 with 2 original controllers for $50. Console all checked and with warranty lol. Don’t get me started on Pokémon game prices :’)
Because they sell used bundles that have had a bit of a clean and test to make sure they work for a bigger price than professional refurbished system bundles
@@maxiuxoxo it’s all promoting and marketing, that’s how they can sell are professionally refurbished prices even thought their systems are not at that standard, many people still buy them
I 100% agree that prices are super high but I'm also not going to tell someone else how to run their business. Bottom line is that traditional shops and small businesses are basically dying off left and right thanks to Amazon & co. In my area you can't even find a retro game store because they all closed down. The margins just aren't good enough. DKO's marketing is clearly very aggressive and they're trying to position themselves as a "premium" used games shop (even though I don't know if they're even close to that standard, it's the perception they're trying to create). They're trying to keep their margins high. Considering that these shops are becoming fewer and fewer...idk how to feel about it. You can say that they're perpetuating the issue (extremely inflated prices for used games) but they're also just trying to survive in the post-COVID business climate where everybody who isn't a massive conglomerate like Amazon and Walmart are being crushed under their heels.
@@That1PlaceBehindTheBush I agree, but you don’t inhibit discourse to squash the truth. Always allow the informed to educate the uninformed. They do a superficial wipe down, I’ve never received a controller from them that was at a minimum disassembled and contacts/rubbers cleaned. They are not replacing cr2032 batteries, cleaning cartridge ports, or replacing fans but they are charging enough they should be. And my point was they won’t even allow that to be stated.
When I start collection older games, i'm definitely going to buy from you guys. I really love these shipping vids, it's exciting. All these good color choices and different models.
I highly suggest you don't. Their prices are super inflated, and their bundles don't even include the first party controllers, you need to pay an EXTRA fee for them. Here's an example. Their N64 bundle with Mario 64 and two third party controllers comes to $220 without shipping or taxes, $280 if you want genuine controllers and $305 if you want it to come with HDMI. For $305 at most local Retro stores, you could get an N64, two first party controllers, and SEVERAL games, depending on the games you want. The third party N64 controllers that come with these are pretty terrible, as well. He even recommends NOT to get those fake controllers on another video. I like their videos, they're very fun, and the guy in the videos seems like a nice guy, but trust me- you can use your money way more efficiently than that. I'm not a hater or anything, just want to give you advice as I remember when I got into retro gaming collecting, and I hope you thrive in yours.
@@milesfernando I found a snes perfect condition no yellow for 60 bucks. spent 150 bucks all around plus a warranty AND 6 snes games, if you look hard enough, you can truly find a good deal.
Bro really packs everything other than the console so badly that’s like putting a hotdog on bread, he just keeps stuff on bubble wrap and throws it in…… also doesn’t even tape the console’s wrap
