Thanks for the reviews like this Jefe.... Seriously awesome for my overly analytical side, you give great information from all aspects and always keep it real. My old Skullcandy Crush headphones just died on me and my wife was trying to convince me to purchase a pair of Beats. I told her "Nah, I got something better coming." should have my Edifer's here tomorrow and seriously stoked to give them a try. Now to wait for my PaMu Slide to get here that will handle any of my "outdoor" type listening where I am mowing the lawn, working on the cars, etc. Can't wait for your review on those!

Excellent review. I'm a mpow user myself and I noticed that during the summer it gets quite warm when I wear them even outside. The noise cancelation is good,but it has a weird ocean wave sound when you turn it on. I also noticed that connectivity lacks and when you turn it on it gives you a quite "your connected message". So I was wondering how these headphones do in the summer and what their noise cancelation sounds like. And also if they have nfc connection included ? Thanks in advance!

I purchased the blue Sony MDR-XB950B1 headphones back in Feb. of 2019 right after watching your review about them and mentioning I could find them for around $65.00 which I did. I have these headphones on and listen to them all day from when I get up in the morning to when I go to bed 7 days a week. I bought them because of your review El Jefe and what you said about the bass. Amazing. Thanks They sound amazing and the bass is unbelievable!!!

What you need is a dedicated headset, not bluetooth headphones. Buy the correct tool for the job. These are all good for music and movies. The mics are satisfactory. You need a true speaking headset. You should be looking at Plantronics 4220 UC or Jabra Evolve 75.

El jefe .... hope all is well man ... hey for fun the other day i ordered a pair of mee matrix cinema ANC headphones reg 149.99 at best buy for 59.99 on their deal of day... man ive used lot of earbuds over last year and kept the liberty 2 pros which in my opinion are best of best... but these mee's to me sound frickin badass... curious if youve ever heard these or not and theres not lot of reviews on em but i just havent had any other headphones to compare em to.. but man youve literally become my favorite person on here over last 3 months doin reviews!! Great reviews as always. You're definitely in my list of favourite ear/headphones reviewers on RU-vid. I've been having my sight landed on Edifier W830BT for a while now, but Sennheiser has just released their version of budget headphones probably for the first time. I think they're called HD 350BT and HD 450BT. If you haven't tried them out yet is there any possibility that you try and compare them to Edifier W830BT? Reviews that I've watched and read about them mostly say they're less bass-focused and are good in the mids and highs. If you have the chance to try them out please do make a comparison. Jefe! I just bought the Mpows with a $22 coupon through your link. I was cutting the grass yesterday and one of my Galaxy Buds fell out and the tractor gobbled it up. I never liked them anyway... But they were free with my phone a year or so ago. Anyway I really prefer over-ear, especially for working with power equipment.I trust your reviews 100%. I know you from our boy Travis. For update. I have tested it through long ride with car and if the road is bumpy you cant use the ANC because evertime you bump the bass kills your ear and ruins the song. But even without the ANC it still reduces a well amount of outside sound. ANC was good enough for me except that. So if you dont think this is gonna affect you, you can buy it with a relief heart.

Mpow H10 is #5. Edifier w830bt is #1. Safe to say the 830 are the better choice between the two. So long as you don't need ANC.

You will have to spend A LOT of money to get wired headphone sound quality through a bluetooth connection. Audio-Technica M50xBT might be the closest.

While both have excellent sound quality, neither have exceptional microphones. That being said, if you can get the HD440 for under $100 that's the way to go. Otherwise, the Edifier w830bt are still the champ.

Hey Jefe, tried looking through the comments and I don't think anyone asked. I'm looking at either the Soundsurge 46 or the edifiers w830bt. Battery life ain't as big a deal for me since they will be located in an office most of the time. What would you suggest between the two?

One has ANC and the other does not. Decide if you need that then choose accordingly.

Great review! I was wondering on budget anc headphones, do they actually make a difference ? I’m debating on purchasing the tt 46, edifier or boltune 10. Would the edifier cancel out the same amount of noise as the tt46? Like background noise? Comfort is also a priority for me. Thank you

Edifier w830bt does not have ANC. The passive isolation is decent but not the best. TT46 have awesome ANC. Perfect for low frequency sounds like engines, refrigerators, and machinery.

Thank you for the suggestion but its unnecessary. You either need ANC or you dont. Make that decision then choose accordingly. Simple right?

Awesome video! so if I were to get any headphones from this list, the best would be the edifiers? Also, how does the active noise cancelling on these compare to the others on this list? Are they an overall better buy than the TT BH046s? Thanks!

They do not have ANC. The reason they are my #1 is due to sound quality and battery life. The Bh046 are excellent ANC headphones. What you should do is decide whether or not you need ANC. Then choose accordingly between the two choices.

I have got about Roughly 75 usd and i have been eyeing the Edifier W830bt and Tribit XFree Tune but i also wanted to experience ANC and been eyeing the MPOW H10/H21 And the Anker Soundcore Life Q20's and the 4 of them has roughly the same price as i am not from the States, What can you suggest Is it worth it to Sacrifice ANC to buy the Edifier/Tribit? Or should i go with one of the Two ANC's? Im open to any suggestions. Thanks! Keep up your videos. ( I love Bass Headphones)

Between the Edifier W830 and Taotronics 46, which is a better fit for big heads and ears, and which one has better build quality? I heard in one review that Edifiers feel kind of cheap and creaks alot. Thanks!

W830bt is a better fit for larger heads. SO long as you're ok with losing the ANC feature of the BH046.

I tested the SE7 and was disappointed. Turning on the ANC hurts the sound quality. The TaoTronics Sound Surge 46 are a far better option for less money.
