I've only done a little bit of welding, when I was at a couple of schools where we used oxygen and acetylene for small test projects. But these laser welders looks so much easier to achieve great results and they fascinate me.
Yes, i think so too. He has a gift, it's not only the execution, it's as if he's the metal whisperer. He comes up with these ideas to make a machine or tool, so that he can make a product with that machine/tool. A true development engineer, really talented guy. Deserves all of the credit and more. And to imagine what he could generate if he streamed more. My God. Certainly would enjoy every video. Marvelous content. A millionair in the making.
Your projects are always thought inspiring, you have a talent for solution-oriented thinking, and that is what makes your projects so interesting. Thank you.
Great video, really nice project for the laser welder!! Well done too. I wish I had enough demand for one as a hobbyist that I could afford. I've though about a design for a small shop water jet 5x5 ft table (everything is easy to build) but the High Pressure water pump is the bugaboo!! A waterjet is the ultimate CNC 2d cutting machine - literally cuts anything with ease. Hey, I can dream can't I?? I worked in a shop that had a nice one for a couple of years and I ran ever personal project I could ever think of where I could use it, Ever cut glass with it!! Saves, hours of work, no heat to worry about, no de-tempering of metals etc. I also built a welding rotary chuck like you did but not near as nice!!
As usual my friend, that was bloody impressive, I really like the way the laser welder works, it gives a much nicer finish to the work piece, got to admit I'm really looking forward to what else you have for us this year, keep up the great work. 🇬🇧
Мне очень импонирует в видео Александра тонкое чувство той грани, за которой любопытство зрителя переходит в легкую скуку. Ни одного затянутого момента! Все ролики смотрятся максимально динамично, на одном дыхании.
Man, I was wondering what you were making because I didn't see any reference to it at all and just watched. I'm glad I did too as that looks to be very handy to have with the laser welder, if I'm calling it right, you have to create such great looking welds. Thanks for sharing and I'd bet that if you made more of these, they would sell easily. Have a great day.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing this incredible video on: mini lathe machining, laser welding and brilliant workmanship! Greetings from Madang, Papua New Guinea!
The machine you have invented is incredible. very useful in any workshop. you are a genious. I send you a cordial greeting from Buenos Aires Argentina.
Just make sure you have a good ground path that is NOT your bearings! I would have a ground strap/spring touching the shaft at all times connected to the body. Don't ask how I know lol.
Nice machine! Many years ago we also needed the machine for this type of application. But we have chosen an other technology: 2 lines of rollers. You put the product on the top of these rollers, the rollers rotate and the product rotates to opositive direction. With our technology we cannot weld small diameter product (depends on the gap between rollers). With your technology you cannot weld big diameter product. Also our technology always have "linear constant speed" (external diameter*), I mean the speed doesn't depends on product diameter (I have used VFD to control 3-phase motor speed). Also we don't need to fasten the product - just put it on the top and go 😊 It's hard to say which one is better. Maybe it depends on the product: our machine has been made for bigger diameter product. But I like your machine too 😉
AI translation definitely works! It still have your voice and the voice-over adds a lot to the content of the video as well as lets viewers hear your personality a bit which is essential for any content creation.
Well yes, it does take a few 100k of equipment to make it that fast, but it also takes A LOT of experience and imagination to do it. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for converting to English that made the video much more interesting and enjoyable, that was a great build and I didn't have to stop watching to read. Also, that Lazor welder looks like an incredible tool!
Nice result! One suggestion; don't weld zinc plated stuff. A) The fumes are not good for your health and B) the strength of the weld is compromised because of the zinc content. So grind the zinc layer of before welding and if you don't care about the strength of the weld; do it outside or use a good fume extractor. No nagging here, just helping you to obtain better results and grow old. Best! Job
This is a wonderful piece of work! As if a factory were an industrial product. Perhaps even more so, the chuck should be protected from metal vapors and possible metal splashes - the chuck is a fine mechanical structure, sensitive to contamination.
Saya lihat video project mesin anda sangat bagus, dibantu dengan alat alat pendukung yg canggih dan modern, saya sangat menyukai pembuatan mesin anda, keren, salam kenal..dan support selalu..
Can you share more information about the laser welder you are using? It looks like it can also be used as a laser cutter> I seen you place it on the CNC machine. Thank you.
sweet build! you could also build a set of arms that hold the laser welder in place to do the welding for you, kind of like the way a set of helping hands station helps hold the material for soldering.
