Hi Kelly, I was in Dollar Tree earlier (Monday Evening) and met a lady and her daughter while we were both shopping for diy items 😊 Anyways, I asked her has she ever heard of you and she said no. Well I told her your name and a couple of other ladies that I follow for diy's.... i know she'll enjoy your page as much as I do... Thank you for all of your inspiration given on your channel... Love your pumpkin wreath! I like wreaths too. My daughters and I made wreaths for different seasons, it was a lot of fun to do. Now that you’ve shown me something else to make I’m excited to try and do that too. Thanks for sharing!
I love the cork sheets. I use them a lot to a add 3-D or raised look. I print out a picture, maybe a vase of flowers. I cut around every detail, I then use wood glue to glue them to the cork. I cut them out again and use wood glue on the sticky side to add them to pictures, frames, vases or whatever. I thought you didn’t make good use with your spacing the first time, was glad to see you tracing the second time. I save all of the little scraps and use them for extra support for layering, if that makes sense. Like putting a flower, then putting a flower next to it, but putting part of the flower on top of that flower and adding pieces of the leftover cork sheet as extra support behind the second flower to help it looked 3-D layered. I use scissors to cut around my cork.
