Pete, that radio was a portable radio, no power cord needed. It used two batteries, A battery for the filaments of the tubes, and a B Battery for the plate voltage usually 90v. I dont think they make the B batteries any longer. This is why you see B+ in some schematics foe tube radios ;)

Pete, those Shimano cycling shoes likely paid for your whole deal there. If they have a carbon sole, they will be expensive and likely get $150 on Ebay for a pair, but most looked like budget pairs. They will only get you $30 to $50 each, the white ones look like a nicer pair, maybe $80. the UPC code should be easy enough to list and right now everyone is getting back into riding since you can do it social distancing, so product is moving in that space. Finally something I know really well ... my mother was an antique dealer, so I know the industry generally and can spot the good stuff often, but it's been cool to watch your channel to learn more about the general sales items.

Love the videos! To help with your glasses fogging up with a mask on. Try tightening the mask near your nose area so there isn't so much of a gap. Maybe shuffle it down a bit but not too far. You can also put tissue paper around your nose to fill the top of the mask.

That is a nice Motorola Roto-tenna. They made them with a lot of different grilles. I have 4 of them. They are late 1950’s. Seeing it made my day.

With soft cloth put little dish soap on glasses...dry...wipe off till vision is clear but not enough to remove all soap...no more fog for days.

Pete to help your glasses from fogging, fold a tissue in half lengthwise twice & place it under the top portion of your mask (near your nose) that should keep your glasses clear.

Try to put the mask edge under your glasses slightly, it helps with fogging up.

The cycling shoes were more than worth the cost all by themselves! It is good to have connections!

This looks pretty much like what you carry in your store, so I would just make an offer on the whole store, rent a large storage shed, and from there sort out and price the goods as you have time. This way, you could put up a big sign SORRY WE'RE NOT BUYING ANYTHING, and you won't be bothered by all these people coming in trying to cheat you.

I am glad I have been watching your content. Number one it’s just enjoyable to watch but it’s enlighten me on some of my older electronics I have. I wouldn’t have thought the stereo system I have would be worth decent money. I have a Kenwood tuner and Kenwood multi disc player with small Bose speakers that fit on telescopic type stands with a subwoofer. I haven’t messed with it in a while but worked when I unhooked everything. Maybe I will put online sometime and see if I get any bites. Thanks Peter for your knowledge. You have had me hooked on your channel for a few weeks. I am probably spending way too much time watching but it is killer.

You should buy the bike rims that are on the other side of the warehouse. They look like new old stock similar to the shoes. With it being spring and people being stuck inside, cycling stuff really sells well. The board games were also missed opportunity as everyone else said.

No that was definitely a protective plastic from the factory, I have peeled that blue/green clear plastic off of many old products that had metal faces like that.

whenever i see old stuff like that struck tractor that could be worth a lot and might not. 20 bucks is my go to number for trials and ill just say hey ill give u 20 for it. sometimes they laugh and sometimes they dont. sometimes i make 100 profit, but i never lose more than 20. the risk covers itself.

Commonwealth picker bought that same bar lamp. Except I think the nose lamp part is supposed to be red not clear. You might want to get the correct color bulb for the nose.

I'll tell you a trick to avoid the fog on your glasses, told a few days ago by a doctor, get a dry soap bar and rub your glasses on both sides, then take a dry cloth to clean the glasses, don't wet it, your glasses with not get fog with that

I don't know this for sure, but those tin noisemakers remind me of stuff made in and exported from Japan in the 1950's. I remember stuff like that from when I was a kid in the early 60's. Making and exporting cheap tin stuff was the beginning of the rebuilding of the Japanese infrastructure after WWII. Back then no one had ever heard of Toyota, and all "Made in Japan" meant to us was cheap tin crap.
