The old school Samurai is back in the shop building a mobile Sauna that I plan on Barging out to the lake. Im using Yellow Cedar for the interior and metal siding and roof. There will also be three huge floor to ceiling windows to take in the view while using the sauna. Let's get after it!

Seems to me it would have been easier to move the dolley had you tied a branch to it and then tied the branch to your quad. Of course, hindsight is always 20/20.

Great to see you having fun with stuff, though sad about the pump, battery, etc. etc.. Didn't you think of using your find as a log dolly to get it home? If you'd taken a small chainsaw with you, you had the means of tying a log on the dolly, and then hitching the end of the log to the quad.

Break out the welder and weld a receiver on the lumber dolly. Would make hauling it much easier! I'd love to come help, but not sure how much use I'd actually be at my age and condition.

I was wondering, Jesse, how much of that terrain is your parcel of land? That dolly looks like it took off from higher up and cascaded down the slope [is there a road up top?] and the owner either didn't realise it was gone or couldn't retrieve it...

I'll come help, but can you come help here first? Then she'll let me travel to help other people...chores: finish the sunroom extension, start the garage build, redesign the annex to insulate and add a second stairway, take care of all the apple trees I've put in, start new bees (lost the hive this winter), create trails so that I can actually get the side by side around the property, uhm....and some other things I have probably forgotten.
