I would love it. I'm what 'they' used to call an "armchair traveler" and I just love those types of RU-vid videos, seeing and learning about beautiful and historical places and interesting stories. I don't really travel much or far anymore, except for half-day day trip drives into agricultural areas and small towns in a neighboring county to have lunch, visit thrift stores and also visit farm stands to buy excellent fresh produce.
such a bummer that those trays were rusted! good money for them otherwise! I was surprised you didn't take the big folding table at the beginning of this video, great for the flea market to put your smaller items on. that little cocker was adorable, almost a mini Salsa!
Taco's Travels Traveling with Taco Besides watching you treasure hunt, I enjoy the sites while you drive and talk. It's as if we are riding along in the passenger seat listening. I've said before, casters like yourself bring the outside world in for those of us who can't get out as much as we used to. With my copd, the air quality keeps me indoors.
Thanks for the great video. I would love to see a video on the historic aspects of the towns that you pick in. I love seeing the old buildings as you drive past them and would love to know more!
My wife and I have been watching for quite awhile we would like to see the history around your area we live out west and the history doesn’t run as deep as it does in Pa. Years ago I spent a summer (1970) visiting my sister and her family in Maryland. As a young teenager I was infatuated with our trip through the Amish country in Pa. I’ll never forget Gettysburg and how it brought history to life. I’ve always dreamed of taking a road trip through the east coast, right now it is what it is.
Hello Taco, great finds, Good idea, I love it when you are driving into old towns with a lot of history. Will follow you, if you ever decide to to some walking videos. Have a good one.
Ever since I started watching you I now tell my husband to put old grills and other metal things out on the curb for the scrappers. We only have one bulk pick up a year that we have to schedule. He’s much happier now and so are the scrappers.
That's what I did when I was cleaning out my house to sell it. I'd put scrap out on Monday afternoon (regular garbage pick up was early Tuesday morning) with a sign saying ," Free scrap. Please take." Once the scrappers know you are putting scrap out they swing back the next week to check if you've put out more. I got rid of all my scrap crap. One scrapper even took the cardboard sign! LOL 😂! Worked out well for me and for them. I did the same thing cleaning out my parent's house. Worked well there too.
You need to know that old 1950s Christmas boxes are salable. Usually have holly or other holiday motifs. $5 and up. You can do a search for empty 1950s Christmas gift box.
Hi Taco - your idea about a few videos about the Towns you 'trash pick' would be fascinating. There must be a lot of history you could share with us. Another great video today - thanks for entertaining us all on here - much appreciated :-)
OMG Taco Stacks another awesome golden treasures trash picking day. Yes, town tours would be awesome. Hugs and kisses for Queen Salsa and Queen Gracie. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!
Those TV Trays I would check out if not all rusted some people love them. Would enjoy a "Walk with Taco Stacks 🌮 " historical video, great pickings today.
Big yes for the tour videos! Virtual tours are a bless for those who for one reason or the other can't visit places and those towns are very interesting with lots of nice buildings. Don't worn yourself researching for history behind them, you can share what you already know, but taking us along to admire them from a close disntance will be great. Looking forward to that!
Hi Taco. Yes I would love you either live doing a walk through one of those towns . Or even a video of it that would be cool. The puppy was so cute. But I’m sorry not as cute as Salsa. You are truly amazing. Take care. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯
Good idea with the history tour. A little "pick n tell" video would be fun. Careful with loading a riding mower with wooden ramps. Don't want ol' Taco Stacks to end up on America's Funniest Home Videos for all the wrong reasons! 😂
Good morning 🌞 to you Taco. Today has been an amazing day of finding metal in the trash. I'm always looking forward to seeing your videos and seeing what you have done. It was treat seeing that dog. Thank you ❤️ and keep up the good work.
Hi taco and salsa , would love you to do a video showing around that gorgeous little town ,be nice yo see how much is similar to us over here in the UK xx
Those TV trays are difficult to find. They should sell well at the flea market. I gave some away over 20 years ago and have wished I didn't a bunch of times. They're a bit rusty, but a little sandpaper and a little artsy fun and they would be great! Brass was a great score.
Hi Taco! Hey a walk through the town to give some history would be great! You got a good haul today & did a favor for the guy making a chicken coup. Maybe he’ll supply some eggs! Lol. Great job! Keep up the good work! Blessings to you and Salsa. ❤️✝️
Boards will work as ramps, may want some center supports. Also use as long of board as you can, this will give a less aggressive lift up into the van. A 2X6 or 2X8 is what you want, not 2X4. Eight or ten footers. Good luck, be ready to push! Great day for scrap 👍👍
All the shore towns the winter rentals are moving out and the streets are lined with everything this time of year. Just don't touch the stuff with orange tags. One friend learned the hard way.
Taco, I would love to see a video of those towns! I noticed the beauty of the towns in your other videos before & I really think that would be interesting to alot of people. Especially if you tell the history too. Salsa is a beautiful girl! 🐶 I love seeing her in videos too. I also have a Bo, he's a Husky mix, light brown with a bit of white. Thanks Taco for the great videos! 👍
You can encircle a tomato plant with that roll of wire. That way the tomato plant won’t fall over with the weight of the tomatoes when they get large enough to pick
Take your spool of wire to the flea market. Yes, I enjoy geography and history. A little history on a town, park, or church, etc. and a word or two with someone would be fun and interesting.
You are soooo much better at interacting w/people..... :) I always look at the houses as you are driving....OMG! Seeing that puppy pop up was tooooooooooo cute!!!!
In my Council area, big city, we only have a Council organised pick up of those bulky item, once a year. No food rubbish, only items. The flea market and second hand dealers will pick through the stacks a few days before scheduled pick up day. Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
I would love to see historic town walkthrough. I live in a small town in Rhode Island and I live in the “Historic District” so I’m always fascinated with other town’s history.
Someone could paint those TV tables. Yes would like to see a walking tour. And old cemeteries alot of history in cemeteries. Be sure and watch utube channel Faces of Forgotten.
I’m totally unfamiliar with that area of the country, it would be very interesting learning about the little towns because I’m sure they are much older than from where I’m from.
