@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Yeah not judging at all, which I'm sure you know. I just have a mind that goes to old movies every time I hear something and that took me there.
So Awesome!!! You guys are one of my favorite youtubers... Please don't stop... Everything about this I loved. I didn't want it to end... Can't wait for the next one and eventually the weigh in... I can only imagine...
Wow that bottle was cool. Cool operation you guys got going on thanks for sharing. That's messed up that the ole timers got there before u. The old knife was cool too
Hey I'm from Scott Nuttall channel.... We jumped old mine shafts vertically horizontally looking for missing person... I really enjoyed this video thank you so much
Great video, yeah the old timers were there and left some good junk behind, some bottles fetch more than gold! I like the pocket knife you found and I found one too at 12 feet deep detecting an excavation hole searching for nuggets in Victoria's golden triangle. Cheers.
DANG ! Yer Killing It !!! I Have to Dail My 140 In !! The Frist Time Out Found some Good Gold , The next few times very little . I Might be running to Flat , Have to rethink the Angle of the Tray .... GL&HH Greg
We have been drywashing a long time. Air volume, feed rate , and tray angle all play a role in good recovery. The number one bad thing I see people do is push way to much ait through the 140. It doesent take much to run that machine.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Thanks for the advice and that it cooling off I'll spend more time watching it run than shoveling it full so I can get out of the Heat ! 👍🇺🇸 VOTE Love That Kari Lake for Arizona Governor
Good stuff and the video was good too .the micro gold adds up.its a great time to be in the desert. The food just taste better after a hard day's work see ya the next one.
Always enjoy seeing your guys, videos. I would suggest saving all of your concentrates that do not have free gold, everything that is In that dry washer tray that is not visible gold and run it through a ball mill crusher you may be surprised how much gold is in that material Every Placer miner needs to start doing this I only know a few that do. Maybe I’ll start a business buying Placer mine tailing piles🤪
The Davis bottle is a mega common bottle and worth 50 cent at best if you could sell it at a bottle show. That will get you one mile in gas towards the bottle show. Plus $10 for parking plus $ 60 for your 8 foot table and $ 7 for the hot dog and small coke. Fill up your gas task for the trip home. The broken bottle was a common pepper sauce.
Wow! That is an opium bottle. If it says 'Davis' on the front, it is was made between 1860 and 1900. The bottle is worth about $50 and $75 bucks. there are several other manufacturers, I'm really only familiar with Davis.
Another Great video from you guys. Nice botttle in unbroken condition. Very nice recovery guys. Is that a Keene 151 dry washer you are using? Thanks for sharing.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Yeah , back in the day. There were no jobs so a lot of men mined , and had nothing but time . They found pounds of gold here , while digging as deep as they needed to .
You blokes would have to be the most efficient dry wash operators there is fantastic fine gold and chunks to boot good on ya fellas. May I ask do you run the same feed rate onto your riffle tray on the big dry washer as you would a single dry washer. Love the relics it's always great to find history when gold hunting tells a story. Great vid once again and hope that area just keeps on giving for ya's
Thank you so much ! Yes the air volume is the same or a little higher depending on the feed rate. Generally the feed rate is more just because the amount of material to run. No worries though, it catches gold amazingly well..
I didn't know dry boxes were a thing. How does it compare to a wet sluice box? I did some gold mining north of Circle Alaska in my younger years. Normal sluice box with pond water as the source. I'm guessing the reason we don't use dry sluice boxes is that the dirt is moist. And in desert climates the dirt is dry so you can pull this off. Very cool, learned something new.
Howdy , and thank you for watching ! Yes , in environments when the ground is moist nearly, or all year round, a dry washer will not work. The best recovery method will be a wet system . However, here in the desert the Dry Washers Started being invented in the 1800`s and were wildly successful in most areas where the ground was dry and no water was available. Recovery with a dry washer is better on fine gold than a wet system, and it takes significantly less equipment and parts to operate. They use air to separate the heavy material from the lighter material.
How did the early prospectors do it? How did they find an exact place to start digging those tunnels? There were no metal detectors around…Just ‘reading’ the geology looking for bedrock landscape? AMAZING !
That looks like a fun time working hard! Nice mix of mesh sizes getting caught.....the fly poo seems collect on the silicone could it be sticking or settling out in slack air? Those are nice bottles...there are videos out there turning the broken ones into shot glasses and other cool things.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK there was a U tube video in Australia where the guy had 4 keens , a hopper and grizzly and was feeding it with a bobcat. The dust was really bad
@@tombeilman5579 I may have seen it .Nice looking set up if it worked properly. The onewe use has been used for many seasons and has been modified as needed. The biggest issue with dust is that is gets in the bloweres for the dry washer air supply and cloggs the cloth from the inside. We have found ways to help mitigate this.
Pretty Ausome. Y'all got a beAutiful spot there. Personally I love the dry-washers. Speaking of which, I have a Gold King for sale. I'm in Lake Havasu so if you're ever up in this area give me a shout out. Don't have any legs for it, loaned it to a "friend" and had to go pick it up. Guess he ran over them.
Can you guys explain the tunnels some more? I don't really understand... I see these tiny holes you are showing, maybe a fist size, but I don't see any tunnels where a person can walk in? What am I missing??
Just ran across your video. sweet finds. Just went thru my first season mining in montana with barely any experience haha. But now i can run a 35k excavator and pan down some gold fairly quickly.. Even with all the toys it's a lot of work but even more fun. What state are ya in? I've never dry washed...we have micro gold here mostly.
I was just butthurt..I'm from the desert and don't make it back much..I seen you digging around and was instantly jealous lmao...the smell of the desert when it rains nothing compares..we used to hint bottles and pretty much anything we could find on old foundations miles and miles I to the desert where you'd never expect to find an old homestead.
I get it !I live in the mountains but more at home in the desert. A lot of people dont get to use an excavator like we do either. It takes money and a lot of paperwork. Big risk !
So is that yours and boulderdashs claim I live in north Carolina where there is plenty of gold were just not allowed to claim ground to work love your videos keep them coming
I Really like the concept and the content in this vid, you got me very interested and I will for sure follow your adventure. I recon you don't need water permit... anyway really nice video! Greetings from Sweden mining Finnish Lapland ⛏️ ✨️ 🇫🇮 🇸🇪
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK just kidding when I mentioned water permit but what permits acquires for your drymining concept, just curious if this could be done at our claim tough it maybe to wet condition.
I won't say your lucky cause you make your own luck and you guys work your tails off . How do I know we'll I don't see no feathers sticken out your back side . Great video .
what part of Arizona are ya in? I see the saguaro. I used to live in tubac just north of Rio Rico. spent a buncha time in green valley[Tucson] and Carefree by Phoenix.i miss Arizona so bad and exp since I got the gold fever AFTER moving to Florida. where there's NO GOLD! keep it up
