Suggestion for the blank permits: Since you, Pearl and Gem are surrounding this lake, how about you three build a "black market" on the bottom of the lake? Inside this place you can have flea market stalls where anyone can sell anything (a bit like in Hunger Games) and at the entrance you hang these permits named "Permit for everything" and "Permit for everyone". It's a bit poetic since it's at the backside of the Permit Office, and your portal will be the "legit" reason for why people visit the lake. The server has become way too calm and peaceful. Time for someone to start stirring the pot, and you know that you three will be the perfect trio to start some trouble.

Make the blank permit a 'Diamond and Diamond Block' permit. That way you can sell your diamonds for *whatever* you want! 1 diamond? That costs... erm... 3 stacks of sand! 3 diamonds You can buy these for 1 stack of cherry wood! 1 diamond block? You can buy this for an elytra! You can sell your diamonds for anything!

One thing I noticed when watching Skizz, Xb and Keralis play is that it would take a second listen to realize that they're supposed to only catch the short grass. Apparently the Hermit's listening comprehension is about as good as reading lol.

@@emmaporter8160 The reason for 14 is that the change from 13 to 14 can be read by a comparator. You get a signal strength of 1 with 1 item in the pot, and then 2 with 14 items, so to read 12 some other method will need to be figured out.

Idea for the blank permit: Start a counterfeit permits black market in the cyberpunk city using the blank permit as the counterfoil. The truth is that you're photocopying it with an old printer so all the copies are a little wanky. You could have a custom model as well of poor imitations of the permits.

Imagine a black market beneath the lake behind the greenhouse shops, right next to gems trident and coral shops. The entrance is through a soup restaurant on the pier (callback to the soup group from season 9) where a secret door takes you to the “suspicious soup market.” People could sell items illegally with no permits and the whole thing could be run by the SNAILS!! The mischief would make for some fun videos and then we’ll have a court case also!

In the Touch Grass instructions, on headphones I'm hearing a little audio glitch right before "short grass" that makes it a little hard to catch the word "short". And I've seen other hermits misunderstand that rule in their videos. Seems like around half the hermits think all the blocks are in play.

Skizz broke his fishing rod every time he played. Maybe add unbreaking to the rods or a button to get a second one. It feels bad to still have time in the game, but not be able to get more grass. Fun game though! The "thinking" sounds were priceless!

If you're fishing only the grass and in 1 go, then it holds up, so if you're bad at the game then you've got a higher chance of the rod breaking, which could be turned into a feature. also it would mean changing the format of what happens to the fishing rods afterwards, unless the plan is to also destroy the enchanted fishing rods

Another thought for the nether portal could be a giant beanstalk. It would give some green nature vibes, and fitting for the area and to add height for the portal. With some strategic placement of leaves it could help hide the Permit Office and be a bit of fun parkour.

If you're looking for things to put in the grass shop, Bdubs made a game during the S7 where you could bet on wether grass or mycelium would grow first on a block of dirt. It would fit perfect with the theme!

Idk about it becoming the standard. Etho and Cub tried later in the ep and didn't get it on their first tries (4 and 8 iirc). Skizz had to try multiple times in his episode. Impulse also mentioned XB and Keralis tried it out, but I haven't seen their episodes yet to see how they did.

Bdubs has Podzol & Mycelium! I bet you could rent out space to him since that's similar to grass. If you want dirt in the shop, Doc seems to have that. Hypno has coarse dirt, which would work well too. Iskall seems to have the cut grass, but he said he wanted to make a tower for all his stuff. Still worth asking though so he can put a temporary set up! Cub also has Nylium, if you think that might work.

Ideas for the blank Permits: Diamonds (Aka, you now have a store that can buy whatever it wants. Also, then you can ask people to help "restock it for you" but taking in payment, the item used to buy the diamonds.) Permits (now You get to sell all of the permits that people are wanting. including new permits for things already being sold XD) Or maybe use it to sell an item that already has a permit, but that hermit is not currently selling.

You could use the blank permit to sell Blocks of Air. 1 diamond per stack, and the chests/barrels are just empty. Would be quite funny, and you can't really get in trouble with the Permit Office because you're not 'actually' selling anything. Would make for a good court episode too if they sued you for selling nothing lol. Or selling a Blank Space Block, again just an empty space, so people can have open spaces in their builds 😂

Right across from you shop With touch grass, you could make a nice garden, and have a pond with lily pads for your lily pad permit. And then it would make it prettier, and cover your other permit. Also, stress monster has the dirt permit, she had the dirt pile pop up shop.

The permits could be diamonds and diamond blocks in a black market auction house. People put down Shulker boxes named with the objects diamonds are selling for (example: 1 diamond sells for 1 stack of grass so the Shulker would be named “1 stack of grass” and filled with diamonds, or 1 diamond block sells for 1 stack of tnt so it would be filled with diamond blocks and named “1 stack of tnt” etc.) you could even have a “scalpers” section where people put barrels down and place large amounts of diamonds in them to exchange for Shulker boxes of items. Then people that visit could potentially make some money by going back and grab things that are just lying around in their storage. Would also help others with resources too

you should name the permit something silly that isnt really an item, like "permit to do whatever I want" or "permit to cause chaos" and then just. cause chaos. prank people. graffiti on the shops. OR! change it to some common action, like "permit to mine blocks" and then go find someone mining and ask if they're allowed to do that. you could make a bit out of it, maybe swindle them into giving you a little something something. u know :D

I say go big colab with Pearl and build and each take a large service for your permits. Like how last season pearl was the cleaning lady. Weather you upgrade storage rooms or build cool elevators for others, you can totally abuse that blank check. I think It’d be fun if Pearl did organics as a service

If I know my minecraft correctly, you can farm grass (not automated). If you use two dirt and two gravel (which you can get from bartering), you get four coarse dirt, which can then be turned into normal dirt, essentially duplicating dirt, which can then be put next to a grass block, which will turn the dirt into grass. EDIT: I forgot to say that you need to turn the coarse dirt into a path so it becomes dirt when broken

You could name it 'portals', and then build a shop advertising portals for sale. Then have chests for end portal, nether portal, deep dark portal, aether portal, but theyre all always out of stock.

I think something funny you could do with the blank permit is to build a large shop... selling nothing. You have a permit for it, after all! Either sell a mystery item (that is nothing), or maybe even just make a junk shop that can sell basically anything for the same price. Kind of like a shopping Mad Libs, you fill in the blank for your customers.

An idea for your grass shop about getting a lawnmower and cutting the grass, you could do that with a line of grass blocks that get bonemealed, then on top you have an armour stand that looks like a lawnmower get pushed across the top of them with a water stream. The water breaks the grass, but it looks kind of like the lawnmower is doing it.

If you wanna push the blank permit thing to the limit, change it to specifically Skizz and Scar heads. Don't tell them what the heads are for when you gather them though. You could set up a death loop for them in a way that drops their heads. Make them think it's never ending, drive them crazy. Make them Po Po Loco
