I havent played an mmo in a few years but im really enjoying TaL so far. Seems no worse than all the other mmos on the market and it looks great. Combat is weighty and satisfying. Music is good. I think so many people are just loyal to their particular mmo of choice and refuse to give anything a fair chance.

I tried it on my PS5 because I heard it was cross platform. The PS5 is not quite as clear, as I still don't know how to block. I loaded it on the PC only to find you can only advance your character on the platform you started on, something that is quite disappointing. Not sure how much I will play.
@@Z-MACx I may take a break from MMOs for a while. I am almost certain to just bail on ESO for quite a while and no other great alternatives seem compelling.
I'm enjoying it so far. It's not perfect but what game ever is? *Baldur's Gate 3 cough cough* But really, the music is amazing, graphics are beautiful especially with the large draw distance and I think the combat is also pretty solid it doesn't feel as clunky as I was lead on to believe at least in my opinion. My only issues are where it feels like you're constantly being pushed with menus upon menus, so many systems and I do think it would've just been better to have mounts instead of the morphs because the character models and armor sets look so good it feels shameful to hide it under an animal skin to travel around. Though I feel like they deserve some credit for doing the *mount* system different than other MMO's and you can unlock new skins for your morphs and ultimately look different than everyone else so I don't consider it that bad. Still sort of working out how I feel about the game but I find myself logging in at least once a day to explore, play with guildies and learn more about it so that speaks for itself. I think it's worth a try and it's free to do that so people really don't have a reason not to give it a few hours just to see what they think about it.

This is a great review...of the first 4 hours up to lvl 32. Now do the part 2 of this review...play 4 more hours and after you hit lvl 50 tell us the rest of the story. About time gating, and needing to beat P2W people to get any meaningful upgrades, How your endless hours and hours of gameplay then turns into a 2 hour a day daily checklist then log off. Or how you don't HAVE to fight in PvP to do open world bosses, just come back in 4 more hours when its open world boss. Or how your loot is tied to the DPS you do, which is why healers and tanks are impossible to find as they can't get loot because their contributions aren't counted fully. The game you are showing off seems like an oasis.....only issue is in 4 more hours you are about to encounter the endless drought this game is.
@@Z-MACx people will complain that new MMOs never come out and there tired of playing the same MMOs we’ve had for over a decade and one does come out that’s not half bad they focus all there energy on the negatives. What blows my mind is the same complaints can be said about the current MMOs but you can’t tell them that. Blows my mind.
I think it’s ok but for me it lacks RPG elements and because of that I’m not playing it that much compared to say BDO, FF14, heck, I play Genshin Impact more🤷. Plus, real money for the auction house, too expensive for the end game.
My problem with it is the amount of timegating, EVERYTHING is timegated and it makes me vomit. It plays weird and I hate the skill system. The only thing I like is the graphics 😂
I came from Eso i started T&L last week. And i gotta say it’s good so far i was confused at first but started getting the hang of it all thanks to some help from guide videos it’s not the best mmo but it’s good. I find it ridiculous that those streamers trash talked when they probably haven’t gotten threw the whole game i’m one that doesn’t do that.😂🤦🏾♀️

they p2w is not nearly as bad as other Korean mmos by a long shot like not even remotely close, eso has more gotchya mechanics with loot crates, great vid btw the game is absolutely not perfect but after being stuck with NOTHING BUT ESO FOR 10 YEARS LITERAL 10 YEARS DECADE its a god sent 🙏 me and my friends are FINALLY ALL PLAYING AN MMO TOGETHER IN A GUILD and im happy 😊🙏

It’s not the best I ever played but it’s an Okay game, if you’re looking for PvE it can be fun for a few months but other games do it better. If you’re looking for Large scale PvP it’s one of the best out there atm. Combat isn’t great but the systems are great for competitive PvP players in regards to large scale. It just doesn’t have allot at end game for Ppl only wanting PvE. Professions are lacking as well and the 2 they do have are bare bones.
The answer Is NO! You shouldn't trust an heater...watch the always balanced and honest reviews of Z and try the game yourself. As usual I agree completely with what you said. I tried myself and enjoyed a lot especially great QoL. An advice, if you like, you could add chapters to your videos...especially with longer as this last. I tried this game. I made it to level 25 and I couldn't stand the movement mechanics. The game looks ok and some of the community quests are neat but the game offered nothing innovative in my opinion and the movement and combat was terrible. When you have games like World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online, and now Once Human whose active combat feel like your in an FPS not an MMO, you just can't accept how bad the design is for a 2024 game. I wish I could do it. I would love a new MMO.
@@Z-MACx Probably not. I don't get the impression it's changed enough. It got really boring at end game unless your entire objective was PvP. I'm really enjoying Once Human and their innovative approach of fresh starts every 2 months. It takes the WoW expansion model and escalates it to ensure no one gets left behind and that the gear chase isn't both your only PvE end game and your most frustrating MMO outcome of expansions. OH has a good formula for now.
I'm not hater, but I'm talking based on experience. I played the game and it isn't good enough in my opinion. There are already better mmorpg out there and just because T&L is new doesn't mean it is better. Quite often new games feel interesting just because it is interesting to explore in the beginning, but T&L just doesn't feel like a modern game to me other than graphics. They could have done so much more with it to make it a much better game.
@@wisecherry definitely not directed towards average gamers that have tried it and it’s not their cup of tea. There’s just been a lot of content creators being way too critical of the game for extra clicks. It’s not the BEST mmo I’ve ever played but it’s definitely not the worst either. 180 hours, 2700 CP, experienced everything the game offers aside from the castle siege since it isn't ingame yet. Decided to quit, it just doesn't have enough to keep me invested after 50, its the same daily loop and its boring as hell. The PvP is also something I absolutely hate, its just not impressive at all, as gear+build > skill, and p2w exists(I myself spent some $). Zerg vs Zerg is not good at all, I could care less about it, and other games have done it better. Jumping to New World on the 15th.

So the more I play thrown and Liberty the more it grows on me especially the story is good I feel like I have a purpose in this world and I feel with more features and content it's going to be amazing unlike FF14 that has been out for 8 years. gave that game 2 weeks and dropped it the story was boring I felt like I was in fetch quest hell I guess I was the chosen one but it would have probably taken me 6munth to save the world
I felt the SAME way. I think some of it is that so many people spoke negatively about the game that it took me about 15 levels to finally decide “You know what… the game isn’t that bad!” 😂
20 hours in and its okay. I’ve never seen so many types of currencies in one game. I’ll play for a bit but will most likely leave. It’s definitely p2w.

@@ryanking8960 well that stinks. I tried to join the level 30 group dungeon and waited 10 minutes for the party finder to find a healer before I just gave up on it 😭.
Same. just recently tried to do the lvl 30 dungeon and the manticore boss was impossible to do because the game wouldn't let me grapple to the chains. you'd think if they'd make grapples and parkour so important, they'd actually make it work
This game is amazing!! Just amazing!! You all are too silly with your scores 6-7 its the simpliest mmo i have ever played when you learn some basic stuff also progression is extremely fast not levelling only but also the gear system. But i think this game will kill itself very fast because of the lack of content when you reach endgame and pay to win pvp 😢 i hope they will support the game at least with new maps dungeons and raids fast
Amazing? 😂 that's fine, but it just means you haven't played anything amazing at all if this is an amazing game for you. It's new, only reason it's popular now. It's ok at best, 6, maybe 5 out of 10.

I said it's amazing because it is the gameplay is so good the graphics are top it's polished for me as a game and something fresh and 100% the most light version of an mmo I ever play, try bdo a joke game waste of time with tons of mechanic. In throne you have a small daily routine like 1-2 hours and it's over that's amazing for me for an mmo game.. Less is more
Yeah they’ve improved the combat drastically from initial development, but it’s still not the best, especially at the start. Did you get to the point in the game where players can choose “skill specialization?” That’s where it felt like combat started to become more fun
@@rhyzenYT Really? The 4 button spam where every single enemy in the game is scaled to your level so you can't even feel a sense of power when you come back to a level 1 zone to kill stuff? I personally think that GW2 is trash, but to each his own /shrug

Korean players abandoned the game because bots AND gameplay loop that is the same old gameplay loop of any other MMOs from the past 2 decades. There is nothing new. Nothing exciting. It's a meh, average game. Oh and they don't trust NCSoft.

@@Casual_BackPacking I’ve been watching the lazy peon for years and it’s been sad to see his passion for MMOs start to fade. At the same time, he’s been doing it for a LONG time so I guess that can happen over time.
Its a 7 out 10 but if you like pvp its 8 /10 . char creator is 5 /10 basically no body customization but a lot of face modification but still takes effort to create a beautiful face. Its Amazon all their presets are DEI so sucks. But the male preset are very handsome. best graphics come on dude , have you played BnS, F114 , guildwars or even BDO ? this in game graphics are below all of these games
