Hi Cassy - this is the whole story. We made the short film back in 2011. It's great to hear that 10 years later it still strikes a chord.

Thank you. We understand that there's a need for longer films, but we wish to maintain a certain quality of storytelling when making those. When we made Looking for Iilonga back in 2011, we didn't have the resources to turn the story into a feature film. For other Namibian content - that's also mostly bitesized, please feel free to explore our RU-vid channel.

Quite a number of lessons if you don't choose to be ignorant and rather judgemental. 1. Honesty in relationships / marriages is vital or else it can cost you a loved one. 2. Know who to borrow money from when in a dying need. Not everyone you borrow from is going to care or be nice about your inability to pay it back as intended. 3. Never ignore someone that doesn't appear too appealing to you, you May regret it only when it's too late. 4. Never trust people you do not know. Just because you aren't a killer or ever had bad intentions for people, it doesn't mean anyone out there will be as nice as you are. 5. Always seek to help people that can't help themselves not because you want recognition from society but because your father in heaven will reward you some day. 6. Be a humble partner and seek forgiveness for your relationship or marriages sake, if you are really wrong instead of being all arrogant all in the name of self defense. 7. You never know when it is the last time you will be seeing a loved one, always seek to love them, embrace them and give them the very best of yourself before you possibly live with the regrets of could have-should haves. To mention but a few...✌
