Hello, Yeah their is a difference on the older air boxes. Most gains are with this and a stage 3 tune.

The newer model X3 like yours does not need this parts as the factory one was made to flow more air than this aftermarket part. You are good to go with the OEM part already on your X3.

707800859, 707800856, 707800861, 293650096 this should be all you need for that setup.

Henry Avila, it’s worth it over any other intake mod that’s out there as of yet just by looking at it over the stock pre 2020 box for sure, at my power level it’s hard to notice lil changes, I also had a revision sent to me at the same time as adding the intake box so i also can’t pin point if it was changes to the tune or what no

No the 172 air kit is different
