I really like how you're clearly super comfortable with them, gentle but confident. I'm sort of new to "bugs" when it comes to having them as friends and house guests--but my husband loves mantids and jumping spiders and he's definitely converted me. I really like the whip spiders, it might be ME who has the next vote for tiny alien companion--I love things that look all Lovecrafty like that but you can let them crawl around your hand without real worry. The contrast just feels so satisfying : ) Thanks for a fascinating and soothing vid.

Recently found your channel and I really admire your passion for arthropods, it's kinda difficult to find content about bugs that doesn't constantly put the down haha... Those roaches were so adorable! so cool how you just grab the bugs and know how to handle them, most bugs around here are way smaller and I have a fear of crushing them so the only bugs I grab are pill bugs, earwigs and sometimes caterpillars (also most I'm interested in have a defensive bite or sting, so I don't want to stress them) I most often let paper wasps crawl on my hands since they're my favorite, they're very docile and I haven't been stung once while doing that (especially since I often feed them too lol)

It was interesting to see how she tended her spider web. She fixed it when needed, when it was too badly damaged she spun a whole new one. When she was gone, I was almost sad.
