This actually sounds pretty cool. I've also heard that the Territorial ability is planned to be removed. Mainly because it was a filler ability. Volkaloa has this ability and it's going to have it replaced with a new one. but other than that, this update sounds really cool and would probably improve the quality of life to the game. If you wanna know that the new ability for Volkaloa is. It boosts its Melee Attack stat by 50% at the cost of only being able to use the first move selected in battle. Basically, Gorilla tactics lol.

I have a feeling that loomian legacy is gonna pull a “Pokémon” and make ranked battles work the same way as in scarlet and violet (doubles only with random opponents in the same class).

i feel like the prizing will be quite alike to the ranked rewards in pokemon go and pokemon unite giving different rewards for getting to the higher ranks like how GO gives different levels of a cosmetic set for rank 22-23-24
