Cloth, glass beads and bells are pretty much recent adaptation to our dance....I think the feathers are the most traditional part of any dancer's regalia.
Ive been dancing mens traditional and singin since I was three years old ill be 31 in a few weeks and you guys dissin on that dancer aint cool..........spectators i swear lol just like hockey fans tellin players how to play from the sidelines........have and show some respect!!
These are the real owners of America and I'm not just referring to the USA but to the whole Continent. This is their land. First nations, Inuit, Mayan, Aztecs, Incas, Pipiles, Zutuiles, Guarani, Araucanos, etc,etc,etc,.
At what point is traditional no longer traditional? What is the line? I agree that dude in what looked...well, I definitely don't like the look. Don't they do an "old time" competition? Wouldn't that be really traditional?
i dont give a shit what anybody says the guy on the left in the white @ 0:32 has waaaay too many feathers and looks kind of stupid with that many, went waay overboard with it
