Nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, just a two-hour drive from Boston, is Loon Mountain. Loon is not only known for its exceptional parks, but also their incredibly welcoming vibe, as well as a great local ski-town atmosphere in downtown Lincoln, NH, located mere minutes from the chairlift. In the fifth episode of Mountain Recon, Eddie Wall links up with locals Shane Nassar and Ian Hart to ride the mountain, stop by the Bunyan Room, grab some food in the nearby town of Lincoln, and get the inside scoop on what makes Loon so great.

I think people would really appreciate like park run-throughs or drone shots that show all the features etc.

Yeah. Or, just, some riding. Of any kind. Apart from spray shots, got that covered. Was actually pretty impressed at how little there was in this 4 minute video.

Came here with my school, it was awesome the nicest trail I went on was sunset up at the north peak, make sure to go to the octagon lounge for good food

Awesome concept. I think some more info about trails, glades and some hikeable terrain from the resort would be awesome. Everyone knows Loon for their parks, what else is good?

Great episode! Would love to see you guys come do a Mountain Recon at my home mountain Sugarloaf Mountain, in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. Some of the best terrain and the largest ski resort east of the Rockies!!!

Some of the best resorts are the small ones you pass right by. Harper mountain in Kamloops BC is my favorite resort ever.
