Those were the ARP Wardens. Air Raid Precautions. These people were all despised for their abuse of power. That’s where the character of Chief Warden Hodges of Dad’s Army came from.

Really like how out of all the stuff you try not to laugh at, it is these cartoons what screws ya up the most. I can't hold it either sometimes as these shows are masterpieces and if ya ask me what I would definitely lose a challenge like this watching would be "Oggy and the Cockroaches" as that particular show freaking dooms me and I would really like it if there was a decent tntl vid of it but I doubt so cuz it's so criminally underrated.

Mel would some times talk as Bugs as voice actors tend to do when their well known for a character. Well supposedly Mel was in an accident and was unresponsive, A doctor knew Mel spoke often as Bugs so he spoke to Mel asking for Bugs. Mel responded as Bugs and helped guide Mel back to awareness, not sure If the story is true but It's fascinating if it is because it shows just how engrained Mel put himself into Bugs being his most iconic role. After all It's his voice every voice actor after Mel tries to recreate.

Actually Blanc is prounounced with a shorter A as in blank. In fact, he was born as Mel Blank but changed the spelling with a C after a teacher told him that "he'd amount to nothing, a blank.".

During The 70s & 80s His Voice Became Very Rough Sounding This Was Because Mel Was A Heavy Smoker, It Was So Bad That During The 70s & 80s Characters He Voiced Sounded More Rougher Then They Did During The 50s & 60s. During The 1980s His Health Was Declining Due To His Heavy Smoking He Did Quit When He Was Diagnosed With Eemphysema in 1985. The Jetsons Movie Was His Final Project Before He Passed Away. Sadly When He Was In The Hospital He Wasn't Getting Any Better In Fact His Health Got Even Worse Doctor's Discovered He Had advanced coronary artery disease After Two Months In Hospital Mel Blanc Passed Away On July 10th 1989 Due To Complications From Both Diseases. You Wanna Know How Bad His Smoking Habit Was? Mel Blanc Started Smoking When He Was 9yrs Old
