They probably never will sadly because of episodes like Southern Fried rabbit they don't show anymore

RabidNemo ya know I would absolutely LOVE a collection of The Censored Eleven and the other racist Looney Tunes.And I know this won’t ever come true but cmon Warner Brothers release a complete collection of these wonderful cartoons which are absolutely my favorite cartoon.

Well I can tell I'm definitely a little late here but if you weren't aware WB has now put out 3 separate volumes entitled the "Looney Tunes Platinum Collection" in both DVD and Blu-Ray format. From my research, it seems like each set contains 3 discs, with the first 2 discs in each set containing mostly cartoons from Golden Collections 1-6 as well as 6-7 new additions, while the 3rd disks (Blu-Ray exclusive) mostly contain smaller bonus content.

+Sergeantslug Definitely agree. I'm guessing that there are just so many looney tunes that if they did make a complete box set, it would be so expensive that only the diehard fans would pick it up and it wouldn't be worth the money for them. Who knows.

That's exactly why I haven't bought this set. Not into "best of" types of releases. A great example are the Popeye sets that have been done very well, and all in order from 1933 onward.

Keep in mind that there’s some bad episodes in some of the DVDs like Golden Yeggs, Canned Feud, The Cecil Turtle Shorts, The Wild Chase and A Haunting We Will Go. You should skip these ones because they are mean spirited and stock footage heavy.

Also speaking of the spotlight collection have you done a review on that yet if not please would you I'd kill for that it would be great cause that's how I grew up with looney tunes also for the box design though also porkys got a green version of his blue vest he is always seen wearing also was that a reference to I haveint got a hat if so that's dedication right thier also in that short the vest is bigger in the short but here it looks like his blue vest anyways great video nonetheless also in 2020 bugs celebrated his 80th birthday slash anniversary also their was a dvd set with new cartoons never before available on dvd and also HBO's new looney tunes cartoon series is great also elmer and sam aren't allowed to have guns annymore so that's a thing

Cheryl Tindwani It depends where you bought it. If you bought it new at a store or other legitimate place, you’re fine. It’s if you bought it on eBay used or something that you’d want to look more closely into it. From the research I’ve done, you can have a legit copy that says 375 shorts on it.

+RetroMagFan They actually have each six volumes released individually in the USA as well.

J's Blu-Rays The first collection in the UK had the discs released individually so for example Disc 1 was released by itself first then the others followed before they were put together to make the Golden Collection.

Does it really matter? I'm no expert to spot a bootleg copy but if it still looks good then whats the issue unless someone actually shows the quality of each disc to prove what is real or fake.

it's not a bootleg, i have one, and i've gotten official versions with 375 on the spine, later versions have 356 and it doesnt mean the original version saying 376 is a bootleg lol, you can tell if the text on the bottom of the set is unreadable and the box is shiny instead of matte like the official version, heck, even the cases are so obvious lol

I’m pretty sure they are also counting the cartoons in the special features.

Where did you purchase? is the box legit? It comes with 24 DvDs, so if any less then id agree its a bootleg or something is not right. Return asap..Good Luck

That guy on the other video didn't do enough research. There are real versions that say 375 and I have one of them. This is an authentic copy purchased directly from Amazon...not a third party seller. It has no indication anywhere on it that it's a bootleg.

Some Pepe Lew Pew cartoons are in here, As well as in The Platinum Collection. There is the Looney Tunes Superstars: Zee best of ze best DVD that has entirely Pepe Lew Pew cartoons.

It can be hard to tell. Usually discolorations on the discs or artwork or typos.

Duck Hunt Dog 007 Incorrect. This was purchased directly from Amazon, brand new, not from a third party. It shows absolutely no signs of being a bootleg. I think earlier prints of this had the 375 episode notation and that some of the other videos made regarding this issue have been misinformed. If I can be proven wrong with more evidence, I’ll certainly admit it, but from what I’ve been looking at, I am pretty certain my copy is legit despite other claims.

​@JsBluRays check and see if your copy has the whoopi Goldberg interview at the beginning on volume 3. Only official copy's have this. Also check the spine at has 375. The letters won't be even. And will be yellow. I just got one on ebay. And mine looks like your copy. And it says 375. And has interview on it. Also bugs bunny mouth will be a different color.

Hi J's Blu Rays I just ordered my own copy of this DVD box set yesterday from eBay.

I just got my own copy more than 2 years ago I guess it came the mail one day around either 2019 or so I don't know I still have the Box with the 6 DVDs inside
