• Loop Ear Plugs Review ...
LOOP earplugs are NOT just for musicians. However, if you are a musician or someone who works in a loud environment, I implore you to get some ear protection. Whether LOOP is for you or you decide on another brand, please protect your hearing.
MOST musicians go through it at one time in their musical life or another; It's the time when we realize, "Hey, I better protect the one thing that allows me to do music - my hearing." We often take our hearing for granted. But once we realize we must protect our ears, then the fun really begins. Try LOOP and let me know what you think. Do you love them as much as me?
Protect your ears in style! That's right, no more hiding the fact that your protecting your ears. Show them off with several different colors like: Black, Silver, Gold, Red, and Rose Gold.
In this video, I cover things like: comfort, versatility, visibility, noise reduction rate, and how well they held up in different, loud musical environments.
I hope this video helps. Thank you LOOP for making such a great product for me and all the musicians and music lovers out there.

i’ve been searching for a comparison of all three everywhere! but it seemed like everyone just had one of the three. i’m so glad i found this! i’ll definitely use your code when i order. it sounds like the experience pro is basically the experience and quiet all in one? (by adding the mute, it turns from experience to quiet, so you kinda get the best of both worlds?)

Maybe its a dumb question, but, if you buy and put the mute ring in the normal Experience ones, its exactly the same as Experience Pro? Or is any diference?
@michaelmingoiamusic
@michaelmingoiamusic 6 месяцев назад
Not a dumb question at all, but be prepared for some conflicting opinions. This question was asked by another subscriber of mine about a year ago. It didn't even cross my mind to try it. When I did put the mute in the Experience it worked just as well as with the Pro ones. After trying it, I put a video out explaining that you could. HOWEVER, many other people commenting saying that the website specifically says it doesn't work that way. I read it on the site as well. Now, I am not saying LOOP is lying at all. What I am saying is it worked for me. I got the first model of Experience and Experience PRO. So, maybe they modified it since. I really am not sure. It works for me. I tested it multiple times. So, if you want to try it for yourself, I would love to see what you found. Does this help? -Michael

I've just ordered the experience pro ones after watching your video! I'm very noise sensitive so I wasn't sure the regular 'experience' would be enough, but I didn't want the quiet either because I want to have conversations with people without it being too muffled or having to take them off. There are days where I can cope but others where my sensitivity is more intense like today, where even the TV or music just hurts my ears and I can get a bit irritated and stressed after a while. Let's hope they help! They ship from Belgium and I'm in France so it shouldn't be long!

I bought my first pair of Loop earplugs today and they're comfortable and really do work. I'm a musician and I rehearse with my band in a tiny studio and I've been trying different plugs. I purchased the Experience Pro. Your video was helpful because I wanted to install the mute and your instruction was short and sweet without bla bla bla. I also appreciate your delivery - it's clear and understandable. Thanks for that. So many RU-vidrs mumble, talk way too fast and/or spend too much time bragging about how much they know (and I'm sorry to be the grammar police but I gotta say this: "it's more quieter" drives me CRAZY. It's just "quieter"). These work! Thank you! I liked and subscribed and I'm gonna buy another pair just so I can use your code.

I have auditory vertigo. Audio distortions (echo or feedback) trigger dizziness, anxiety, and eventually nausea. Sometimes, especially if it's a humming or hissing background noise, it just triggers me to suddenly start crying. I ordered the Quiet last week, and have been very satisfied! I have a lot of streaming meetings and if the participants had a poor connection, the audio would be unbearable for me! Now, I just pop in my Quiet earplugs, and it's all good! It filters the distortions but still allows me to hear everything I need to hear. Last night, our meeting conductor had a humming noise in the background, and within I few minutes, I was about to burst into tears! I put in my earplugs and the rest of the meeting was tolerable. I'm thinking I'll get a set of the Experience also. My only regret...I ordered off of Amazon instead of direct from Loop and only got the silicone tips, no foam tips. 😑

Hey man, I'm a vocalist, doing rock/punk/metal vocals. I find I'm really sensitive to changes in frequency profile, and I've struggled to sing/scream properly even just while recording with really decent over-ear monitors. So I've avoided using hearing protection, but it's just not smart, and I know it. I've had tinnitus since I was a kid, it's constant, and I don't really need my hearing getting worse. I notice on your Earos review you had a lot of great things to say about those as a singer, but now you seem to be using the Loop plugs instead, and your review on them doesn't say much on how you feel about them as a vocalist or why you switched to them over the Earos for gigs/band stuff. Do you mind letting me know how they stack up? Do the Loops have that ear-popping effect when you open your jaw for wide vowels? Do they muffle your high notes, or can you still hear the overtones in your voice effectively enough to maintain good tone in your upper register stuff?
@michaelmingoiamusic
@michaelmingoiamusic 2 года назад
Hey Conrad. Great question. Thanks for giving me a backstory. Now, I can answer it better. I love Loop in general for many noise reducing environments. I use Earos specifically for when I sing and play bc I find it keeps the seal best when opening up wide to sing. Keep in mind I don’t have tinnitus but I find Earos best for singers who find the seal in the ear canal breaking often. It’s not 100% all the time effective against ear pop but, I don’t think 100% is possible. But it’s the best I’ve found. Does this answer your question? -Michael

Hi Tara. Thanks for joining the conversation. I do believe you answered your own question - or more like the response I was going to give you. I think listening to music is great (I do that all the time with earbuds/airpods). But, if you're putting your airpods in to focus (that's okay sometimes) but really just want to quiet down the environment that playing music is just controlling environmental noise with a different noise of your choosing. Having an earplug in, especially ones as comfortable as LOOP will lower all the loud noises in the environment around you, but still audible enough for you to hold conversations. I think it will be a great purchase for you. Did this answer your question? -Michael

Hi, I don’t have ADHD, but I’m commuting quite a lot on trains, etc., which can be somewhat overwhelming and/or exhausting because of the noise. I love to listen to music with my AirPods Pro, but after a long day, I prefer to disconnect from my environment. I bought the Loop experience after a friend recommended them, and they are great. The noise that comes through is similar to the noise that comes through the AirPods when noise canceling is off, so I believe the experience pro might be similar to noise cancellation on the AirPods. Maybe that helps :)

I guess maybe other people don't live with really loud snorers, or aren't as sensitive to noise as me (i'm autistic and have misophonia), but the loop earplugs don't even have comparable noise cancellation to even the cheapest of the cheap on amazon. Snoring specifically is usually at minimum around 40 db in sound, and a really loud snorer is going to be closer to 60 db. Even in another room I was constantly woken up. I think these noise cancelling plugs just got popular due to advertising over them being better than the other ones on the market. I think these are for people who want to be able to hear while also dampening noise. I think claming they are good for sleeping just isn't a true statement unless you aren't a super light sleeper, or sleeping kinda far away from the noise.

The scraping noise is like nails on a chalk board and I avoid eating with people at all costs. I eat of plastic or wooden plates at home. I'd love to be able to go to a restaurant though. I hear this is great :-) I'd like to be able to still hold a conversation and block out the high frequency of the scraping sound. Do you think the pro ones would be the way to go? Maybe I wouldn't be great company with the quiet ones but I can't decide if it would be a better option. I'm not sure how much you can actually hear. I also have a very noisy neighbour and it would be great to drown her and her demon child out, but the cutlery thing for me is a big deal. What do you think?
@michaelmingoiamusic
@michaelmingoiamusic 2 года назад
Hi Carmen G. First, while I wouldn't consider mine a phobia, it does drive me wild when forks and knives scrape on a plate or off someone's teeth. I have a mild case of misophonia, which mean I get angry sometimes when someone is slurping there food loudly. It's strange, I know. I go from calm to angry so fast! If I were you, I would go with the Experience Pro instead of Quiet simply because you can take out the mute if you feel you want to let it more sound. They definitley help with demon kids (I have experience with that too lol) and I'm willing to bet it will give you a great shot at eating out again. I hope that helps. Please let me know how it works out for you. -Michael

@@michaelmingoiamusic Thank you for your reply. I've ordered them so will keep you posted. Mine is defo a full on phobia. I don't eat with other people for the reason that I explained there and it's awful. Even watching TV I have to mute it if people are eating and cookery shows are a complete no no. Going to someones house is a planned event incase it is breakfast, lunch or dinner time. The noise is unbearable. I'm talking hot sweats and passing out. Funny I can handle knives on teeth better than plates. Slurping is just unnecessary 😂 honestly it's just awful. Thanks Michael, very informative video.

@@tricordrazinejones8148 Hi, I only have them a few days. They came from Germany to Ireland so took a moment. I think these would be great for people will sensory problems for sure. My hearing is stupidly sensitive and these really do take the edge off. I can still hear my neighbours next door but the bangs and shouting are less severe. I bought them for my phobia of scraping the plates. This is a life long thing so I think it's something that I will need to work with bit by bit, but I think I'd be more happy going into a restaurant now. I'm not sure if I would be able to hear what people were saying to me with the 'buffer' (I forget what that part is called) As I said I only have them a few days though. The keyring case is too small though and not too sturdy. I put them on my keyring and it opened when I dropped my keys. Moreover if I may, as I understand it, each version on the site at the time I looked had options of either hard or soft case; the experience also comes in three varieties aforementioned. I'm wondering about pro just for comfort, namely when sleeping. I suspect I may have these in the majority of the time as an autistic. Thanks :)

Hi Ashley. That is a great question. While the Loop Experience Pro comes with different silicon and foam tips that fit a bit differently, I don't think that you'd find that they fit correctly for a 4 year old. I may be wrong though. I checked for you and Loop doesn't do cash refunds but they do exchanges if they don't fit right. So, one option may be to contact them to see what they suggest. Another option may be to purchase the Loop Experience Pro and if doesn't fit your daughter you or another family member may love them if you are around a loud environment or are concert goers. It’s a great question- A really fantastic one that I will happily answer. I’ve given it a lot of thought about it in the past. Here are my 2 reasons that I haven’t done, “negative/bad” reviews. You’ll probably like my 2 reason more than my first: 1. While I’ll always give an honest answer to someone’s question, I don’t like giving bad reviews to products. That old adage of, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” always sticks with me. I’m a positive person and don’t like putting any negativity out there. There’s so much of it out there already. I’m trying to do my part to tip the scales. Most ppl don’t get this side of me but it is my moral compass and how I keep the integrity of my channel. 2. The companies that send me products to review- if I didn’t like the products they told me not to do a video review at all. It was because it was not going to be a good video review for them and their company. That was part of the contract that they can decline a video review from me after I received and used their products that I am respecting. I hope that makes sense. However, if you had a particular question about an earplug, I will alway give you an honest answer. Giving an honest answer about a product is not the same as a video review :-) -Michael

Hi Julia. If it's in your budget I would go with the Loop Experience Pro only bc you have the mute option in case you need extra protection. The Loop Experience doesn't have the mute option but it may be enough. So, if that is more in the budget for you then I think you'll find it's still a great choice. I personally haven’t tried them at big venues. When I was first trying them out I did bring them to local bars and pubs to see what the difference was and the Quiet just seemed…well, too quiet. @michaelmingoiamusic Год назад
Hello. Thank you for your question. If you have a drummer in the band, than typically no you won’t be able to lower down enough to protect your ears at band rehearsal. And then when you’re playing live in front of a crowd you’ll need to play at a volume that can damage your hearing. So my advice from one musician to another is to protect your hearing as much as you can. -Michael

@michaelmingoiamusic 2 года назад
Hi Jason. Great question. You’re in good company as I am a drummer/singer myself. You probably wouldn’t want to use Quite because it blocks out a lot of sound. I use the Experience Pro, which has the mute option. Every drummer has their own preference with how much sound they want to let in/out. So, by you getting the PRO, you have the option of using the mute or not (like I show at the beginning of this video). I hope that helps.
