About this game:
Baba Is You is an award-winning puzzle game where you can change the rules by which you play. In every level, the rules themselves are present as blocks you can interact with; by manipulating them, you can change how the level works and cause surprising, unexpected interactions! With some simple block-pushing you can turn yourself into a rock, turn patches of grass into dangerously hot obstacles, and even change the goal you need to reach to something entirely different.

@@TheThursty100 I was stuck on a level and started watching NL play. After watching him fail at a completely different level, I was like "Holy shit. I know exactly what to do!" The levels weren't even related at all, didn't have the same elements or anything. Slightly related note: I looked up how to beat one level, clicked a video, watched 5 seconds and saw the guy move things in ways I already knew you could move them on that level. The second the dude did it though, it clicked. I didn't get any new info from the video, and I didn't actually watch him solve it. It was just the first step that I already knew, but as soon as I saw it, I knew how to beat the level.

[15+(5*3)]+(9² -11) = X - 1 NL: Yeah, if we solve this part we have 100 = X - 1 , but now I just can't figure out the value of X. How does he always stop so close to the right answer?? Also, love seeing NL trying to figure it out while I suck on the further puzzles just as much lol

In fairness, this game is all about finding solutions using with rules that you have to intuit. Of course the puzzle is easy to understand once you know it works.

I'm pretty sure I've heard him say the answer, move the wrong pieces and claim out want the right answer. Says: Box has key and box. Box is weak. Box is push. Does: key is box and box. Box is weak. Box is push.

@@vladdangel yeah he repeatedly mentioned the right thing, also at one point everything was in the right order, "box has key" was just aligned so that it was "box is you" **twice** instead. If he'd just moved under "box has key" which was alright in right order and pushed it north two blocks it would've been the solution.

Then just move "is push" under key. Push the key into door Brake the box with Baba. This time as you don't need to push it into something to brake the box. After, push the second key into the door. Actually I'm not sure you even need "is push" under "box" at all; in fact you could probably just put the words under key and brake the box with Baba.

@@cultoftyler9045 actually I found inadvertently mass producing keys with box has key and box, box is weak, and then making key push worked quite well for that puzzle. Take it from someone who is currently playing the game, the puzzles in this chapter aren't quite linear yet.

I go through phases with every episode 1. Wow this one looks pretty tough. 2. Wait no the solutions right there. 3. Oh I see where he's going with this... 4. WHY DID HE DO THAT 5. JUST GO BACK A COUPLE MOVES YOU WERE SO CLOSE TO THE SOLUTION 6. (Having an argument in my head while NL mindlessly explains what hes doing) 7. I hope he doesn't take that long on the next puzzle.

I love this series so much.. After maybe the first 5 or 6 puzzles I bought the game so I could solve the puzzles before watching your attempts. Seeing you find a different solution than what I found, or the same solution in a different way, is super entertaining. And don't listen to the comments that are saying you're stupid/oblivious/whatever, sure sometimes you miss a solution that seems to be staring you right in the face, but that's just how it goes with puzzle games sometimes. You're doing great and the series is awesome, keep it up for as long as you're having fun with it!

Doesn't he need the "and" as part of a "has" chain for that? The issue is that an item that is open will consume itself to open a shut object. So first he needs to get 2 objects to play with (like "baba has box and key" with "baba is you" and "box is you"). That way there are 2 objects to mess with first. Then you can do a simple thing like "box is you" and "key is you" to open the door with key and touch flag with box. That's off the top of my head just looking at the puzzle, not 100% sure it'll work.

fallouthirteen you just have to swap it to ‘’key has box’’ and remove the weak after you get the key. Then you open the door and hit the flag as a box

NL, I just wanted to thank you. I was watching you solve "But Where's The Key" and wondering if you'd actually get it, because I remembered it being really hard for me. You were in the middle of puzzling it out, and I was thinking "Man, this guy is dumb, why doesn't he just try X?" And then I realized I hadn't actually tried that myself. And then I realized I hadn't ever actually completed that puzzle. Long story short, watching you made me smarter? No, that's probably not true, but it definitely helped. Good on you, egg. I hope you take pride in your work, because you should. And take some pride in your intelligence, too - I haven't watched to see if you've beaten that specific puzzle yet, but you've been surprisingly creative, if not straightforward, in your solutions. It's honestly inspiring seeing you able to beat a level in a completely different way than I ever imagined, because I beat it the "obvious" way. And some of your solutions were more obvious than mine, frankly.

what is Rawls? That wouldn't work because you Need Key is You, or you just don't exist. Box has Key is Box is You and weak Then part two, move "Box has" so you get "Key has box" because if you open the door as the key, you must turn back into the box to finish.

@@Oxxyjoe I think he's referring to the other puzzle where you is just baba and you push a box into the door for infinite keys (NL got all the way to this point) then make key is push and you're set.

@@Oxxyjoe John Rawls is a philosopher who, amongst many other things, wrote about "The original position". That was all that was :P And the solution was for the final puzzle. Edited my post for clarity.
