Not usually a fan of pastels, but you might have converted me with this beautiful swatch. Thanks for the demo. It really helps seeing yarns worked up to sway you to trying new stuff. 😊
RE washing It seems like it washes up about the same as Ice Picasso, then. Awesome! Now I can blame YOU for enabling my lastest bad habit! 😂 Thank you, and have a great day. 🐞
I actually liked all the colors. The one you choose for your project are beautiful. I like yarns that make segments of color (wide strips). Thank you for sharing this with us !
That is pretty yarn. I like the yarn reviews. I'm a review reader and if I'm on the fence about buying something, some times the reviews help me make up my mind.
Very pretty yarns thryss, I have not tried the loops and threads yet. Wish I could though. On one of your lives u mentioned you could use some scrubby yarns I have a few I'm not using that are new I could send them too you if u need them. ❤😊
@@thryssinstitches9655 they are the red heart sparkle scrubby I don't mind as I am not using them and would hate to to see them go to waste just sitting here. So I don't mind sending them to you. I'd rather they get used
Hahaha I thought it was my stomach until I coughed and still heard it. That is a beautiful stitch pattern. As previous comments mentioned it really showcases the yarn itself.
Thank you foe the review of this yarn. I love it. Its so soft. I am about 1/3 through crocheting bag o day duster sweater vest. Using the silver Grey. It's turning out beautiful.
Love it when people do a wash test. True value of the yarn. I always do a gauge swatch, measure, wash and dry. Drying being an option I do to yarns I think should be dryable just for grins and giggles.
Thank You so much for this review! I have been on the fence about this yarn since it debuted. I'm really drawn to the tangerine colorway for some reason, even though it's not my usual. Love the stitch too! Thanks for the wash test, that's so helpful :) I think the Long and Short of It is a perfect series name, catchy and unusual to grab attention!! Have an amazing day!!
I really enjoyed working with the Ombre Hues yarn too. I'm so tempted to get enough for a cardigan. It is so soft knitted up. I got the same purple color you got. Love the watercolor look when worked up.
Hi Thryss! I haven't been to Michael's in many years. I just loved how that yarn worked up. I may have to go look in the store for pretty yarn! Thank you for sharing. Take good care! ❤
Love having the large swatch! It works up beautifully. I don’t have a Michael’s near me but I’m going to order this on line. In really like the color you chose
Thank you for sharing this video. I haven’t used Loops & Threads yet, hopefully soon(ish) lol. The longer & shorter swatches is a great idea!!! Take care beautiful 💜💜💜
Thank you for the review. This was super helpful. The yarn looks amazing and definitely squish! I’ve been eyeing the yarn and trying to decide on whether to buy or not. So this has helped a ton.
I bought some, but haven't used it yet. Thank you for showing how beautiful it is. I see a colorway with Orange in it. This interests me, because I don't like Orange. 😊
Thanks for the review. I just bought that yarn in the blues and can’t decide what to make with it. I’d love to see your finished sweater. Looks amazing.
Hi. I bought this yarn on Saturday, for 7.99 ( i only got 3 ), and Monday they were on sale online for 5.99 ,so I put another order in for 2 more colors. ( 12 skeins all together. It is a very soft yarn. Can't wait to use it , but I'm not sure what to make. Thanks for sharing. Donna 💜
Gosh.. is that your Michaels? Ours really doesnt have the selection it used to.. its pretty disappointing. Thank you for the yarn reviews..always appreciated.
I have not. Here's the typical issues and solutions. 1 you're using too small of a hook. So sizing up can help. 2. There are certain directions of twist for knitters and opposite for crochet. You can twist the yarn in your finger which will make it taught so go up a size to accommodate especially if Guage matters. Sometimes adding a bead can help but is the least helpful of the solutions. Sometimes yarn just splits and there's nothing you can do too.
I just bought a bunch of this and have been looking for reviews, thx, Thryss!!! I'm gonna watch, then add to my comment. 😊👍🧶 How many skeins did you use for that panel? Did you use the recommended hook size? Thx, again!
