good luck about the pricing....................the sequencer could be cool.....I use quantiloop abd a bluetooth pedal.............and the upgrades are free !

Quantiloop is hobbled by Loopy pro standards. And is basically a iOS Rc300. Zero imagination in the GUI.

Just I have a question with import audio files in loopy … can not use audio share to pre listen the files before charging in loopy pro … for example like a DJ .. and the must is pre listen the files in head phone with routing in loopy ! Hope you andertand my question ! Thanks per advance

Hi Doug, this works great for AUM based midi what if the midi seq is a standalone like lottery? I can load loopy in AUM but I want loopy to stop recieving midi after say 4 bars, just record 4 then stop recieving midi form lottery, is this possible?

When I go to load a music app into Loopy Pro, why don't they all show ? It's disappointing I don't have access to them all unless I use AUM which kind of defeats the object

Maybe you can help me with something regarding midi sequencing in Loopy Pro. I have been banging my head against this. I watched your Polyphase tutorial and how to use it within AUM. But, I'm struggling using Polyphase with Loopy Pro. Any thoughts on how to make Polyphase sequence AUV3's in Loopy Pro? Thanks!

Do we have to import or record audio first before we can record the midi sequencing? As far as I can tell, no way to have the midi sequence before our first recording which seems very odd to me. Actually the reason I found this vid, but you imported a drum loop as a kind of aside to the point of this tutorial… makes me think there has to be something recorded before sequencing which is what I was afraid of.

Did you ever figure this out? I dont have the midi control button that every guide says to click on.. I have a FCB1010 that others are using with this software but not sure why the option is missing in loopy pro =/

Too complex, too expensive, and wouldn’t fit my workflow anyhow. But this sort of thing is what the STR does best- pre-release demo, then (ongoing series? of) tutorials. Great work Doug…

This app easily replaces my $600 hardware looper but with way more functionality. Too expensive is laughable at best. Expensive by iOS standards maybe.

If I understand correctly this is an annual rental. They can wait a long time… I don’t see what this looper does more than a good daw. Zéro daw is offered for rental.

It’s not an annual rental! What you buy now is yours forever, including bug fixes for the life of the app. After a year you can choose to pay for the next version’s upgrades. If you don’t, you continue keep (and own) the app as is. It’s kind of like if you owned Ableton Live 10, you had to pay to upgrade to version 11.

Mike, the app developer is one of the best in the biz. He’s cut out a firm place in the iOS music app ecosystem. The pricing is NOT subscription based. I own the app now. If I want to own updates 2 years from now I pay for the update, this is just like Ableton or most other desktop softwares.

I always find this the case when it comes to what you are willing to spend money on. You will spend 8$ for a coffee 3 times a week, but spending 30$, once, for a DAW/LOOPER/SEQUENCER is out of the question. Again, I get everyone has there "willing to spend threshold". Just maybe a different way to look at it. And "You" is more of a global term, not you specifically, I put myself in that box too. I will easily drop Hundreds of dollars on musical gear, but have had the same pair of shoes for 6 years, ha.
