Thank you for this . Some say this is common sense...what's the need for this video .... Im from Malaysia. Its sad that there are actually many Indians (saree is our traditional clothing) who don't know how to drape a saree at all.
To the Indians complaing about a foreigner teaching how to drape a saree: Do you also whine about cultural misappropriation when an Indian beauty struts down a Parisian catwalk in a haute couture gown? Or when a fabulous Bollywood celebrity dons a designer hat at Ascot? If not, please understand that cultural appropriation works both ways, and appreciate the fact that the saree may now have a bigger audience.

I swore I would never wear a sari again because of the issues with pleating and making it look neat. Even with readymade saris it just falls apart on me. It's very stressful😢😢😢

My mother-in-law does this for me everytime I wear a saree.. it's that difficult to wear myself, and mummy ji is the only person who comes to my rescue, apart from my husband ofcourse.....
