Love that you so generously share details of other urban sketching artists on your channel !!Also, hard to believe Phillip Dean is doing loose sketching.. but I see your point. Neil Whitefield? is very loose but there is order in that chaos. Thanks much.
Your book is amazing and you should have it on paper back. Thank you for sharing so many amazing artists with us. It’s amazing to see so many different approaches. It really gives me the confidence to go out and practice, practice.
Nice video, Taria. So inspiring-it help us loose our creativity with confidence knowing that we do not need to be perfect in capturing live scenery while sketching. 😊
Just discovered (and subscribed to) your channel. I really enjoy your narration. It’s interesting and inspiring. I’ve only watched a couple videos and I’m champing at the bit to go try a few new things in my sketchbooks today.
I think my top 3 urban sketchers are Stephanie Bowers, Marc Taro Holmes and James Richards. Each person styles I love but also r techniques too works for me. Must get out and about here to do more where I live. Bx
Thanks for sharing. I admire the work of all the artist you mentioned, and when I think loose I think of Paul, Liz, Marc Holmes, and many others. But for me, the epitomy of loose US is the one and only Felix Scheinberger. Forget Craftsy. Have you checked Domestika?
Love Teoh and his channel - a long time fan. I particularly love the videos of him flipping through his sketchbooks - thats what got me hooked early on (many years ago)!
Well this was completely useless. I wanted to see someone draw, not list the things I already knew. (Edit: yeah, got it, you were just trying to drum up an audience for a PAID course. Sure, yeah, you can do that. And I can leave a review to warn people.)
