Oh, D Amazing that was a great idea for this big, hairy boy to have item holding hands that he can use to hold weapons with from swords to tree limbs to whatever. That would be badass for sure.
The two I got are garbag as far as joints go. They will move if heated up but once cooled they are essentially fused in place. I've tried the oil trick, I'll move them back and forth dozens of times while they are warm, nothing works. Whatever moron in the development phase decided EVERY joint needed to be a crazy tight ratchet joint should be fired. I was so so so looking forward to these and they are, as if right now, the biggest disappointment of 2024 simply because I can't pose them the way I want due to tight ass joints
Got mine today got the white one i put it in hot water for 5 minuets to loosen it up got the tail and head on also switched the right hand for the open claw one then still still stiff put in hot for further 5 minuets. I have it actually standing in a pose like you i am amazed it does stand with how its top heavy i do still find its stiff in few places afraid i will brake it if i try to force it so keeping it how it is for now.
BBTS said they still haven’t gotten them! They’re currently trying to chase it up but that was a few weeks ago. The company that made them have actually disabled comments and refuse to give anyone an update.
Can you please do something about the company that made these? They promised customers they would be out in April and nobody has got them yet. They’re ignoring everyone who asks and have disabled comments. They also said they sent them to BBTS a month ago and BBTS said they haven’t received them yet and are going to chase it up. Haven’t heard back in 3 weeks. Can you please help? Only 5K has gotten stocks for two diff colours but the rest have went AWOL everywhere.
I can help clear things up about the lateness of your pre order. They indeed have been shipped over to the US tho customs is backed up going through all shipments this is why the release hasn't gotten to its American distributors . When customs gets through all them you will be on your way to having it.
Awesome Video. I loved the Warhammer reference too. And Yea this thing is huge and awesome. Patiently waiting on mine from BBTS. Also, im pretty sure your going to get that Ultramarine Leviathan Dreadnought one day. Cant wait for your review on that! Cheers!
@SickestToys what's nuts is I pre-ordered mine last month after seeing Jay Hernandez's review figuring they'd be comming out soon. I should just ordered from aliexpress and I'd already have it.
BBTS told me they still haven’t got stock from the manufacturer! The manufacturer also disabled comments on their posts so people can’t ask where their pre orders are and refuse to give updates. My friends Monster Hyde figure made by them also fell over and the leg joint snapped and they refused to give a pre order and told him to buy their premium version.
Great review D, I'm really excited for this release but worried that even with heat and shock oil the joints will still seize up like the first valaverse wave. Any insights?
@@dangerfly yes. If poor quality fiction was a sin, we'd be down to roughly five movies ever. Simply put, werewolves slash with their claws, and if you've ever been ripped up by a dog's paws and a cats, they aren't really that different. Sharp claws look cool, and that's the rule for action figures. Anatomical accuracy isn't cool, especially on a theriomorph.
@@kiltedcripple George R.R. Martin refuses to allow his dragons to have 6 limbs including wings because no real large animal has that many. Apparently he thinks the quality of fiction matters. A werewolf shouldn't have random traits otherwise why not give them long giraffe necks or elephant tusks? Notice kids don't mind sloppy logic as long as it looks cool.
@@dangerfly A dragon is a great example, because reptiles don't fly or breath fire. A more realistic dragon would only glide, but in reality the wings would just barely slow it's fall. In a fantasy setting setting a dragon would need hollow light weight bones, feathers and wouldn't be able to breath fire, basically a dinosaur. Original dragons in history couldn't breathe fire, they were more serpent like, they typically didn't have wings it wasn't until late medieval depictions fire breathe became a thing and the iconic fire was originally thought to be hellfire as they were seen as hell beasts. Most medieval dragons had poison spit that was sometimes acidic. George R.R. Martin ignored most of the history and lore of dragons to have something more flashy and visually interesting much like the werewolf claws. Wolves also have narrow chests designed to run so it's safe to say werewolf anatomy isn't one to one with actual wolf anatomy. Fantasy is going to fantasy and fiction will fiction. The rule of cool is usually the deciding factor with stories and designs.
I know it’s for good reason, but I’m sad that they release date keeps getting pushed back. Now BBTS is saying early October. I was hoping to have mine through the fall/Halloween season but who knows if they’ll even arrive to customers by October 31st
I got sick of waiting, found one in my city and cancelled my pre order from BBTS. I picked it up yesterday. It's missing a knee cap, but already reached out to loose collectors and they're sending me a replacement knee. Figure is hype. Elbows are still tight as hell after like 5 hot water baths so I'm gonna try again later.
@@lakerskb2465 they were meant to be out in April this year bro 💀 they’ve just been delayed so much cause the manufacturer lied about sending them to BBTS
those hips are the only thing I worry about from pics on international fb toy groups who had him early and had some breaks. I still have him order but... shock oil is waiting.
