Honestly, the "DETERMINATION" part looks _easier_ than the rest of the song, once you get used to visually hopping from one screen to the next. Consistent pacing, one step per beat... You'd think she would pull out all the stops after "MUSIC GAME HELL". Either way, I love the concept of switching "games" every few seconds, and now I kinda want to get an arrow pad to try this out... that, and for playing UKSRTALE of course ;)
@@SK-by6qd Have you gone back and checked? I have tried several metal noteskins, and none of them have worked. DivinEntity was the only one I used that worked with the minigames, but it glitched out the flashing effect at the beginning so that none of the steps were visible and they didn't even flash.
@@AustynL I have this file on NotITG V4 and it seems to auto-select the right noteskin no matter what I actually pick, maybe there’s a newer version of the file that you don’t have?
I used to really like playing this; the minigames are really cool, but for some reason I can't control them anymore. All the effects work just fine, but I can't do anything in any of the minigames like moving the watering can around in the 1st one or hit the ball in the 2nd one. Any idea why this is? I tried re-downloading and reinstalling OpenITG, but nether worked.
@@awsomechannel121 in the lootus_full file there should be a courses file take the .csr or whatever it's called and drag it into the courses file of your itg
Is there a Stepmania 5 version? I got SM5 for the Megalovania song with sans but all the other crazy stuff seem to be on different Stepmania versions. I prefer SM5 because I can play in HD. I tried to do that with OpenITG and SM3.95 but the game crashes on my laptop and the default resolution is something like 4:3 480p if I remember correctly.
+SoreThumbsBill it can be taken for granted if there's a stepmania 5 version the link will be there with the ITG version. The only reason there's an SM5 version of Megalovania is because it only took 3 days to make. This took 2 months to make because of all the programming and sprites and interactivity, so it'd take just forever :(
taro4012 Thanks for replying. I'm new to SM and it looks strange why everyone seems to prefer creating for the old versions. I guess it has to do with the new version being harder to create these stuff on.
+SoreThumbsBill the biggest problem is that the new version keeps changing, so if you make something, there's a chance that the new update will destroy some code, cause the thing you made to have errors... So why bother making anything... At least the old versions will not be updated anymore
can someone help me? this is my first time working with openitg, and i previously have been using stepmania. after downloading the RAR file, i extracted it and have it on my desktop. i looked through the openitg folder and found "Courses" and "Songs." what do i do with the file contents and what do i put the contents into?
3 years late, but what you need to do is to drag and drop whatever you have in the RAR (the Songs and Courses folders) into the OpenITG game folder. You then need to go to MARATHON mode to play lootuss.
Is there anywhere i can download/buy the song used here? I've found one Japanese site, which is included in a 10-track album, and i have never bought anything from a Japanese site before (let alone paid with Yens), so i'm curious if i have somewhere else a single track option somewhere, or will i have to trust that website, and buy the whole album?

It says in the description "Song: lootus - PHQUASE." Just look up "lootus phquase" and the video'll be there. Unless your account's being controlled by the place you work at and they block it (for example, the school I go to). (And it isn't even a bad video.)
i'm kinda confused here... so i was playing this course on my OpenITG, everything worked fine except for the minigames. they seem to not respond to my controls. also, the notes seem to be out of position from the video. i don't know what's wrong ;;

Ok I was excited when I figured out how to add songs to ITG but when I added it, It just won't let me do/move at the mini games and the music hell game thing so can anyone help me?
you need to install the noteskin that comes with the file ("DivinEntity") in your NoteSkins/dance folder, and then you need to play the .crs file in Marathon Mode.
+taro4012 Do i put the DivinEntity file in OpenITG'S Noteskins? If I do I did that, and when I start up ITG and try to play the minigames it still doesnt work. Also, when I bring up Marathon mode it shows there is no songs.
I see that you're making fun of the Tween Overflow at 5:35, but what is it actually? I'm getting it in my first scripted simfile :( Edit: that was a problem with the "checked" variable XD
