That was an excellent tour of the hotel, I am delighted to see they are open again. When I was there in September it was all closed and locked up. It’s fantastic to see life is back. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Excuse me James. The video was recorded in December 2019, the hotel is still under renovation. I uploaded a new video because many subscribers had asked me for it. It seems that in March they reopen.

Mini golf course is now gone and a new pool in its place. A lot of major interior improvements through out, like lobby and main dinning area for example. And a few other changes here and there..

Thank you for the info Kris. I was at the hotel in December 2019. I hope that the improvements are to everyone's liking. It's a hotel that I love but now it is quite expensive :-(

A muchos viajar y a otros muchos los puestos de trabajo y la vida. Ánimo a todos los canarios. Y en general, a toda la gente del mundo que seamos cuidadosos con las normas para que todo vuelva a la normalidad.

Great video, great video quality! Is this really is December? Did you go swimming? What was the pool temperature aprox? Thanks.

Thank you very much for your comment :-) Yes, it was recorded in December but I couldn't swim in the large pool (infinity pool) because it had a water heating problem and it was FREEZING !! In the rest of the pools, yes, and the temperature is quite pleasant, about 25ºC I think. Greetings from Gran Canaria.

By the years (I have been there many times), this hotel has become too commercial and lost its original authenticity. Who needs a booth in the middle of gardens where they play pop that you can find anywhere else as well?! In the beginning it was something special and typical, now it has lost its soul. I hope that the renovations will take account of the class and prestige of earlier times.

Hi Dave! How many immigrants have arrived this week or how many are there in the south? The government is already taking them out of the hotels and bringing them to facilities in Las Palmas de GC. I understand that many people do not come for that, I would still be one of them.
