Kinda true ..last week it was STICK FIGURE ! .....this week it is LORD HURON ...with a little Bruce Cockburn, & many other artists in between , eg Van Morrison ,Led Zepp,Hugh Harris,Lloyd Cole, & I could go on & on & on & on ..even THE SCREAMING BLUE MESSIAHS deserve a mention ?
I have say, you couldn’t have picked better for a title picture. Also, this is so bizarre. It sounds weird, looks wild, and it’s all just ridiculous and incredible. Only these guys could pull this off.
Introduced my kids to LH approx 10 yrs ago and since then their music has been a constant during our many road-trips. Last week we all attended their concert in Brisbane (AUST). Without a doubt one of the best nights of our lives. Just incredible!
Brissie killed. Since I fell in love with this band many years ago, I'd been yearning to see them live... they did not disappoint one bit. LH is the shit.
Bless you as parents for exposing your children to a real experience. The musical talent, art & beauty brought on through hard work by the performers will hopefully have a positive impact on them for the rest of their lives. ☑Great job parents!🌠 ⭐💓👊🏻
Saw them last night, these guys are phenomenal performers. Best live concert ive ever seen, only second to jack white. But they deserve all the credit in the world.
Hi Manraj, I am 100 percent with you! All live concerts are absolutely stunning. You felt this special moods in each second. This band is sent from anywhere above clouds. I felt in love, after few seconds. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z5hvu3ws18o.html This gig played at "house of blues" had catched me for live. Cheers Bernd
Having just seen them live last night in Brisbane-their first show here ever-I wholeheartedly agree. What's funny is I heard two guys say these exact lines when everyone was piling out of the venue. Fuck I love this band.
@@ExpressedCreations I saw the melbourne show and could not agree more. The love of music and the enthusiasm for the show was palpable, electric! Wish I could see them again soon!
LORD HURON NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION! I love their work of music and performance and art media!! So sad to miss this AMAZING show! Totally loved seeing their shows every album and this really pulls all the shows together! Performances becoming infused with the lyrics and music with each show! Last one was in Bend, OR, watching them perfect the show and w Alison Ponthier on stage too! So magical this band.
Hello from the UK. I discovered LH two weeks ago and I’m obsessed. How they sound this good live is beyond me, must see them now, added to my bucket list.
these men (and lady) are doing something big and different and i'm here for. if you ever want to know what God feels like, drop LSD and listen to Vide Noir (or Strange Trails, but VN is my fave). Secrets of Life, Ancient Names 1 & 2, Moonbeam are all insane
Saw them at Edmonton Folk Festival at the start of August and it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had at a show. Sun setting over the city behind them as they played and the crowd all going nuts, hopefully take that memory to my grave one day.
the music is best interpreted, the arrangements are so skillful and everything fits together so wonderfully. you always want to dance to it and never want it to stop. it's just so much fun to listen to. presented so positively and simply divinely
I truly deeply loved the studio version and there's no match for that. Although you can't deny how freaking amazing and unique the live version of it, is mystical, the experience is very unique and you will remember forever. These folks are making history and I'm glad to be born in LH era :D
What would we do without you Cobb Avery your uploads of theses amazing people have kept me alive literally! In lots of sickness and a little hood health! I will live until I die!
Soy de Perú, pero desde hace 2 años sigo a este grupo y siempre sus canciones me hacen sentirme en otro mundo 🌕 son perfectas... Increíble el final con "MEET ME IN THE WOODS" 👌💯
Top 3 band at the moment. Not dead yet and fool for love are some of my favorite songs ever. And can’t stop listening. Lord Huron really is one of the couple bands like the luminers and Caamp that’s saving music nowadays. Keep up the good work and really want to see y’all play sometime soon! 💯💯
@@CobbAvery how did I not see you reply? That's exactly the part I meant! I just got tickets to see them live and VIP. First concert in my life, 31 years and Lord Huron renewed a love a music I needed. Thank you again for posting this, I'll be showing this video my friends to hype them up!
The set was amazing, the lighting was on point. LH killed it! Great camera work and direction, and solid audio for all but like 1 minute. This is an absolute winner! Nice job by the band and the capture team! A lot of hard work went into this video.
Frozen Pines.. i was sold. That song came on while I was burying my Belle... To this day if I hear it, I sob and i always feel good after it's like I feel my Belle looking down on me. Sometimes I dont know why we get pets because it's like having an extremity surgically attached just to have it removed later... but that's for a different comment section ... long live Lord Huron. Lords of the cosmos
I know it was a single but I feel like Mine Forever is going to end being a really underrated Lord Huron tune. Fantastic song. Thanks for uploading this!
I somehow slept on Mine Forever until very recently. Personally, I get so obsessed with one or two songs that I put them on repeat and miss other bops until those hook me, too.
Thank you so much for uploading this. I know they would never have a show anywhere near our part of the world, so I enjoy watching these. I hope I'll be able travel to US in near future and experience this live.
This band, with each song, transport me to places in my past, present, and future. I won't be happy until I'm in the audience one day. Just a beautiful performance by all.
My first chance to see them is Milwaukee in August with First Aid Kit!! Stoked and it's only January!! Been a fan since 2015 the day I discovered them!! Pearl Jam was my thing for 25 years until they got way to political with every single song and every concert turned into a activist political rally in whitch Eddie would give a polarizing speech and a mix of cheers and booing would divide the crowd last 10 years or more . I can't do it anymore. There is a lot of good music out there, But This band LH band is in a league of there own, & a breath of fresh air and rejuvenation!! Because they allow us to escape the daily grind and relax with visions of untamed beaches, and get lost in the endless frozen Pines of our minds. Cheers!!
@@CobbAvery Sorry, didn't see this reply until just now. Well it was at the Miller High Life theater. This band exceeded my expectations!! I love music!! Been a connoisseur of good music my whole life. My wife is a casual fan of music at best. I've dragged her to a lot of concerts that she came just to keep me company. But this Lord Huron Band!! really got her enthusiasm going!! Awesome band and show!! Now that I have answered your question 7 months later, and 3 weeks after the concert in Milwaukee August 13th, did you make it to that one? If not which ones did you go to? Cheers!!
They are always SO good live. I saw them back in 2014 at Summer Meltdown in Darrington, WA. Just a little 4 day festival in the cascade foothills, unfortunately it's no longer going on. I wouldn't say this about many shows, it was truly magical.
