Yes Lord! Send a revival right now. Oh how I remember those ole school devotional hymns my Great Uncle and the other older Deacons used to sing at my old home Church, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL with the late Rev. A.J Carter, Sr. I surely won’t leave out the Deaconess, The Mother of the Church, the senior choir, nor the amen corner. As a child I didn’t understand those hymns, but they definitely hit different now. When you get to know God for yourself, you can relate to the words and feelings. I was told as a child, growing up, that when you moan the devil doesn’t know what you’re taking about. I believe he does. That’s the reason he flees. With everything going on in this world today, etc: pandemic, killings, racism and whatever else satan is throwing our way, God is still in control. Praying for peace for the entire world.
