the fastest way to get the 3 mil pops if you dont have a lategame save file, is to play the moab madness mission 3 times in a row, just look up the soultion to it online and it takes like 5 minutes
Start with a 520 Glue Gunner and a 003 Village, get a 150 Druid on Round 2, then upgrade village to 023 on Round 3 and start building a 250 Spiketory, after that you can pretty much get whatever you want with the rest of the money.
Honestly the fact that you can place water towers near it will be greatly helpful, as it will allow for maps with no water to have stuff like energiser, preemptive strike, flavoured trades and so many more useful upgrades. Tell me if I’m wrong but don’t the mermonkey bottom path tier two provide more range stacks? Then that would be an insane synergy as well. And if tier fours do that, all you gotta do is spam a few of them, and you can have an easy sub bottom path army carrying you.
tier fours dont work for that, and the range boosts sadly don’t affect the range in which you place water towers around the tower, neither do any other range buffs
If it behaves like the ice monkey's middle path, like it probably should, range buffs do not increase the radius for land to water conversion. IIRC the additional range the tower grants itself from crosspathing does allow the icemonkey to freeze further. However, I believe the x02 cross path grants the range utilizing a buff so it probably does not increase the water range.
It's not exactly "5% of the time", but you're close. It tallies the overflow pierce, and when the overflow reaches more than 1, the next attack gains an additional pierce. So for a tower with 1.1 pierce, it means every 10th shot will have 2 pierce instead
@@rustable4165eh, he's actually right. "5% of the time" implies that, well, 5% of the time it gets extra pierce (same thing as saying one out of every twenty shots). However, if he said it has a 5% chance to gain increased pierce that would indeed imply randomness. It is completely true that 5% of the time the tower gains extra pierce. @@20oxide36No like he said if a tower has 1 pierce it would have 1.1 and every 10th should it would have 2 pierce. which means 10% of the time it has 1 pierce. Not 5%.

I really like the tentacles animation. They first attack by a doing a quick slam, then retract to inside the abyss for less than 1 and a half second, to after that, go back up and be ready to attack again. Very smooth ngl
You can do a regrow farm to easily unlock the mermonkey in 5-10 minutes of idling. Even though regrow pops don’t count towards pop counts, they still count towards unlocking towers.
Since 5th tier Lord of the Abyss spawns an abyss of water underneath it that lets you put water monkeys around it, it should give it the base line range increase once it hits lv 5. Its now technically in water even if it started on land.
Regarding your 'correct me if otherwise', 5:58 : No, what you said is true. You are absolutely correct. Testing with MK on, Striker lvl 8, and a Dart monkey, the base pierce of 3 makes the total pierce 4 every three in four shots. edit: timestamp
I really like the trend of towers having sub abilities like xx5 farm collecting bananas in its range, x3x ice monkey being able to freeze water, and now mermonkey creating water. Its always bugged me that the only way to get those kinds of things was through powers.
Much easier way to get 3m pops for mermonkey: play moab madness 3 times! Takes like 5 minutes Edit: 5:49 the way decimal pierce works is that the fractional amount of pierce carries over to the next projectile, ex. 3.5 pierce means that you get a 3 pierce projectile followed by a 4 pierce projectile, etc. Source: Topper's advanced popology (and i made sure this was accurate as of the latest update)
oh man i just found your channel. I used to grind btd battles a lot over 10 years ago. I didn’t even know btd 2 und bloons td6 exist. A few weeks ago i randomly downloaded it again and played with some of my old strats i still remember lol. Back in the days i once made it to like round 100 or something with a friend of mine. Because of that i googled for the world record and then i found to a 10 year old video of you. Then i went to your account and saw that you still make bloons content. That made me kinda happy idk. Just watched some of your videos although i dont have a damn clue about the newer games. Everything looks so different lol. Keep it up man🎉
6:05 I think how percentage pierce works for low pierce tower is that every Xth shot gains +1 pierce, so for +5% pierce it’s every 20 shots for a 1 pierce tower

I did a little testing, and the %buffs from Striker and Mermonkey are multiplicative, which gives about %7.5 more pierce compared to if it was additive. Of course, that isn’t noticeable on most towers, but it's a nice bonus
A good way to get the mermonkey is to make a regrow farm in round 76 just go to map hedge get some blowbacks and put a ray of doom at the end and it takes a couple of minutes, use 3-0-0 druid to speed it up

Yeah the "pops" used isn't the damage stat, it's basically the entities spawned. A red bloon is the same as a green bloon, in this case. Apparently there's an easy solution but I just did a Freeplay run to round 300. It didn't take that long.
if you give symphonic resonance jungles drums its almost going all the time, not to mention if you buff it more, and thats only the tier 4 you might be able to keep bloons circling forever
My favorite thing in this update isn’t even the mermonkey, it’s the geraldo bug I found. So for context, they goofed up the rejuvenation potion to where it refreshes all of geraldo’s shop (including the rejuv potion itself). This means if you have an ability(s) that give you more than $1700 (I like techbotting the middle path druid since it activates all abilities whenever you use each potion) you can make infinite money. I have a good feeling gerry is getting patched very soon.
What I did is I played boss rush. I got 2 runs on Bloonarius, getting the kill, and 4 on Dreadbloon (I got 100 and 120 respectively btw). The Bloons that the boss spawn are so many it completed the quest before I realized.
I dont know if its just me, but 3xx gives me major Yuta Okkotsu vibes, hair and eyes, the creepy monster in the dark, just seems very similar, coincidence or not
5xx art goes SO HARD man tbf dartling gunner and beast handler have the hero unlock screen also there’s no way that donating to yourself works (that’s just a huge discount) clown wigs and self-deprecating emotes, nice the top path design is just so cool also, lord of the abyss ALLOWS YOU TO PLACE WATER TOWERS ON IT???
NK probably didn't do a slow on DDTs and ZOMGs cause it'd stack with glue and ice.... Not even sure how much slowdown that is total, but it's an insane amount.

To get the mermaid monkey, you can play 3 matches of the experiment that spawns a billion moabs that only lasts 5 rounds. You can get it done in like 10 mins lol
An easier way of getting 3 mil pops. Go play an easy map, get to wave 76 79 or any regrow round, i think the rest is pretty obvious, regrow farm. Although the damage is not counted for towers pop count anymore, since we instead got the paragon money slider, it still counts for unlocking the mermonkey. So it may take a little longer than what one guy said (moab madness) once you got the regrow farm, you can just wall away and get a quick drink or smth.
I love how the middle path acts like ultra-jugg. This tower is definitely WAY better on launch than beast handler. Edit: Also the sludge stacking on glue is top tier
*DISCOVERY* I just did some experiments and you can chinook the Mermonkey away from the beast handlers fish while keeping the beast. This would normally sell a boat or sub but since the beasts arent a sellable tower they stay and cant be repositioned regardless of where the mermonkey is moved to, its just stuck there forever.
If you don't want to play the freaking game to get the mermonkey, just get to round 79 with a downdraft and regrow farm, it will count towards the pops and you will get mermonkey in a few hours (if you have a phone I don't know if this is a good idea)
for the unlock i just played 3 chimps games and unlocked it free in under an hour of playtime ish (easy maps, sauda + other towers as 2tc and just let things run afk inclusive some freeplay(
the pop conversion imo when I want to unlock Mermonkey is like 25% for pop progress so it's consume me like 6 hours to get it off Edit : also, challenge yourself with Top Mermonkey and all water towers to get known about it. Vilage and amphibious towers is ok.
