my mom has been in the hospital for a few days now after she had been diagnosed with liver cancer not even 4 weeks ago, one day after we got tickets for a lotl show next month. every day when i left after visiting her, i told her something like "see you tomorrow" or "see you soon". same today. we all knew she was going to die, it could happen any second, she was just too sick and there was nothing any doctor could have done for her now, but it felt better to say this instead of farewell. a few hours ago we got the call that she passed, peacefully, without any pain, in her sleep. now i'm crying my eyes out, listening to this song again, but in the good way, knowing she's in a better place now and we will meet again someday. this band has helped me get through the darkest times of my life and i am unimaginably thankful for every song these guys have made, because i know their music will help me get through this as well. much love and respect for these beautiful, kind-hearted and incredibly talented human beings ❤

This is the first song I heard from Lord of the Lost 10 years ago. I've been a fan of them since then. Theses guys are so talented and their music quality only gets better over time.

My best friend died two days ago, and his brother told me that he wanted us to hear this song. I've been crying for a while but, actually this song helped me to smile and even started to sing again. I know I'll see him again, I just have to move on, live and wait. :') To this band, thanks a lot for this song, it's so amazing.

Chris Harms proves once again what an outstanding singer and songwriter he is. The song cuts deep into the heart and moves to tears. "See You Soon" is not a song you can listen to on the side.

3:12 "...even dark nights are ending in dawn..." that's just so damn beautiful. I remember listening to this song often enough during some rather difficult times around 2 years ago and I always remembered that part. In the end, the dark night truly ended in dawn.

Wow einfach nur wow. Hab mit allem gerechnet aber nicht mit so einem herrlichen Lied. Mir fehlen die Worte das Gefühl beim zuhören zu beschreiben. Ruhig und gefühlvoll und sagt so viel aus. Anhören sollte man sich's auf jeden Fall, insbesondere Fans sei dies Werk an's Herz gelegt.

So great to see how far they are now, fell in love with Lord of the Lost after I saw this video all the way in 2013.. LOTL most played artist of 2017-2018 on spotify . Empyrean is such an amazing album, and songs like Lament for the Condemned helped me so much when one of my best friends passed away suddenly and way too young last year.

Harms is a gifted composer, I love how his choruses are slow and thick and really fill up the sound space. I wonder if he also does the arrangements in addition to the actual composing, or if the entire band has a say in that regard.
