Dude. I listened to this daily for like years. Then it was gone. There was a gaping hole in my life. You have fixed that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
I downloaded it prior to the removal. When it was gone, I searched all my files for a while and was so happy to find it. Still, having it back is a bliss
I'm so glad that there are so many other people out there who found comfort in this mix by listening to it while working a soul-crushing job or while suffering some sort of pain in life. It's the exact same for me. This compilation is so healing, thank you for re-uploading it.
Almost 3 years ago i lost a very close friend of mine...He had leucemia and despite all the treatments we lost him.We were both extremely obsessed with lotr movies-games-songs and we used to spend several hours per day together. These songs remind me of him and all the moments that we shared. We once had a fight and we didn't talk for like a year but when the hobbit movie came into the theaters we watched it together! Like Gandalf said: death is just another path, one that we all must take...
I feel your pain, and offer my most sincere condolences. Those are some great memories that will never fade away, still making that bond unbreakable. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. Your friend went on that path earlier than most. Rest assured, we'll all take the same path, but know that he'll be there greeting you on the white shores when the time is right and he'll give you the same warmth and laughter that he gave you in life. Namárië
TLoR is amazing! Yeah, Gandalf said a truth. Just like the Bible are scriptured, after the death, comes a judgement. Hebrews 9:27 and 28 we have: *Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.* So, Everything in this life is about Christ, Tolkien's works are a great compilation and figurations alluding to the gospel of Jesus. Living this life without knowing the purpose of His work on the cross is pure waste, my friends. In other words, death without Christ is the path to eternity under the deserved eternal and holy wrath of God. Yes, we are dust, and to dust we are decreed to return. But those who hear the voice of Christ understand that they are sinners lost in their crimes and delusions and that the Son of God himself took on human form to be the pure and sufficient sacrifice to forgive and save those that the Father gave him. Blessed is the name of Jesus Christ. To Him be all glory forever and ever! ✝️
I think we just missed the accessibility. Regardless, I'm happy to hear your content once again. I miss the background you had for it though while it was still on RU-vid. This playlist got me through many a study session as well as bad times back in college.
Ya thanks for keeping that link on the Hobbit video. Saved me a million times. This and the Hobbit mix are so good. They're my go to for damn near everything.
On 2nd September The Rings of Power will be released. I will have a marathon of the Lord of the Rings trilogy because I wish to deny Amazon and their corporate product. I will go to where the true Middle Earth is
@@midtwilightblue If I utterly believe that something is an absolute disgrace I want it to not win by profiting from people whether they watch to love it or hate it. I refuse to give Amazon Money so I kept myself distant, not acknowledge it. James Rolfe did a similar thing with Ghostbusters 2016. That's what I will do with this series. Lord of the Rings has been adapted before, but each one resembles some kind of love for the books. Amazon has none
Listening to this takes me from this world of pain and suffering. I can belive there is Magic and beauty that only my soul can see, Tolkein was gift to give us all the chance to see another place another time a true blessing. ❤
The wise words of Gandalf should inspire all of us who love JRR Tolkien's wonderful books, and the fabulous heart warming trilogy of films inspired by them: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” Lets choose wisely and commit to do things that lift others up, so that we do our bit to make life good for all whom we can reach.
41:46 so many emotions... I'm a huge fan of LOTR since childhood and I played so long time Battle For Middle Earth series. All the memories hit me at this point...
I remember to this day I was 14 years old or so, when this song came on during Return of the King in theatres everyone's faces was covered in moisture from their tears. Felt like a massive journey that came to an end.
Man, fantastic compilation! These books, movies, music changed my life forever. My grandfather (humble, wise man of God) was dying accompanied by "Helms Deep", and this sad image is ingrained in my heart and mind forever. I was traveling in Middle Earth ( New Zealand Southern Alps) , inspired by Frodo and Sam, listening to this soundtrack... Now listening to this makes me so sentimental... I miss the Old World, which will never return...Shadow from Mordor is coming... But there is still hope, we know, that the final victory is ours, we just have to withstand all this turmoil and tribulation, then we will sail into Valinor with our Saviour😥😢😭
it’s 4:30am i just finished the return of the king (for the first time) this is just what i needed to listen to while i cry over it and deal with the book hangover
@@AladynG The movies are basically an abridged version of the books. There were quite a few things not included in them due to time and pace, such as the Tom Bombadil/Old Man Willow chapter. There would have been about 10 movies if the books were comprehensively portrayed :) But the movies are excellent in their own right and really provide breathtaking imagery, not to mention music, for the world. They will forever be classics. I'd also recommend the BBC dramatisation of the story (1981 version) for something a little different. As I understand it heavily influenced the movie characters, especially Andy Serkis' depiction of Gollum.
´...Light of Eärendil. Our most beloved star. May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out´. Thank you, friends, for uploading this again. For the sake of us all.
59:18-59:46 - What the strings play in this segment are among the most warm, bittersweet, sad and hopeful pieces of music I've ever listened to. It so brilliantly captures the feeling of having gone through a tragic loss, but, after a time of mourning, knowing that it's going to be alright. "This is the final farewell, but I will always remember you."
The profound simplicity of the treasures that a healthy life consists of are so often veiled in this, the post modern age of virtual noise & madness. This beautiful tapestry of compositions reminds one of the purity of those most innate and truest of intentions that are what we can be and are, once the curtains of illusion are pulled back x
Dan how I longed for this mix again! I use to listen to this mix daily at my old crappy job. Wishing for a better quality of life. Now I live in the mountains 🏔 Thank you Sir🙏🏻 May white shores be in your future🙏🏻
Why does this make me weep? I fell in love with the books aged 13 (in 1972) and love the films. This sound track takes me to Middle Earth - to a place of peace - while reality is full of loss, death and pain (2020/2021). This is why I weep.
I was going through a very difficult time in my marriage when this song came out, and I was feeling distraught, hopeless, and alone. It seemed like every time I got in the car and turned the radio on, this song was playing and tears would steam down my face. It was the perfect reminder to me that no matter what happened, my hope was in Christ alone and He would never let me down. Eventually, God restored my marriage and He continues to be my hope no matter what I have to face in this life.
This mix is so nostalgic for me. I used to listen to this starting my Junior year of high school, now I've graduated college with my Bachelor's and am working full-time. Crazy to think so much time has passed and this mix is still timeless.
This music makes me want to disappear on an adventure. To lead a simpler life; no technology, social media, news etc. Just disappear into the forest and live peacefully. The Hobbits and the elves knew how to live life
@@tanteedelgard1921 Paradise was always on earth we just need to remind old good ways and reconect with nature and use power of the heart which is much more important than deceiving mind. Feeling, thougth and act thats cosmic holy trinity, so trust your feelings and go forward my young padawan 🙌😊
like Lukbal, I too listened to this for years almost everyday. It became the standard by which i measured all other LOTR music and then it was gone. I'm so grateful to have it back in my life.
The amount of simply beautiful music Howard Shore composed for this is astonishing. I dont know if all the music was his, but if not, the choices are just extraordinary.
Just had dinner with my partner on our sixth anniversary while listening to this mix. We played LOTR, Skyrim and other fantasy soundtracks for our dinner music during our wedding
Amazing music never ceases to inspire the heart, it always opens the doors to our minds and to those who dwell upon the path miraculous, wondrous things it shall find
Thanks for reuploading this. I've been listening to this everytime i study at night. I missed listening to this when it was no longer in the Syneptic channel. tnx much
Part of what makes this mix the best is the seamless transitions between songs and the order in which they are played as well. It’s like listening to one long beautiful song. One song to rule them all. I listened to the original video upload almost daily. Since it was taken down, I had to resort to other LOTR mixes on RU-vid but none could take its place. This really is the one calm mix to rule them all and I’m so dang glad it’s back. 🙌🏻
I can’t believe I found this mix again after all this time. it’s like a gift that I desperately need right now. I am calm and can concentrate when listening to this music! Thank you Dan
Thank you !! I hate that it got taken down in our country :/ I use to listen to this every night. Suddenly it was gone . So happy to hear this again . I know I'll sleep good ❤️😀😀
I have been watching the movie since my childhood, even when I was not old enough to understand it. My mom loves this movie very much and I am passionate about this movie. It's like a black hole that pulls me in, in which I am happy. All of LOTR's soundtracks make you feel like eating the best dessert in the world.
I listen to this every single night to fall asleep, it's the only thing that helps, tried everything from rain and thunderstorm videos to spiritual videos, this is the only thing that works so thx again.
Hello, I dont write comments usually, but i wanted to thank you for this music. I listen to it all the time: working ,reading, preparing Dnd, etc... Thank you deeply.
Remember you can listen to them all at soundcloud.com/synepticvip/sets/calm-ambient-mixes-1 - just in case any get taken down again. I rely on these so heavily!
Thank you for making this available to the masses. I love listening to this while I work, and it's so hard to find relaxing LOTR mixes that are actually relaxing music throughout.
Thank you for reuploading this I used to go walking in the countryside listening to this. I can’t seem to listen to this on soundcloud anymore which is a shame
I always wanted to have all the positive/melancholic LOTR music in one place or put together (without the dark themes like Mordor, Isengard etc.)...now I've found this and my life is finally complete! thank you!
Sir, I have read the description (per your request), and I would like to say that this is now my favourite. I am listening to it while I work. Thanks for the help with my journey.
I so hope to see a new LOTR mix by Syneptic at some point. This one is brilliant and I listen to it over and over again but I'd love to hear a new one!
@@queenvictoriann you can still find the original on soundcloud (syneptic has a soundcloud Profil), so it may be that he has it from there soundcloud.com/synepticvip/sets/calm-ambient-mixes-1
I decided years ago, relaxing lord of the rings sound track, will be my labour background music. Cant even put it into words, as I'm sure most of the people who have commented can relate. This music just touches the soul! There's just no question, and no one can tell me otherwise, its being played! lol. The comfort and calmness, of such a loved film series, will just be perfect to be submerged in the LOTR world, and tranquillity of the music, for such a magical event. I'll have my wish. One day..
Thank you so much man, this is a gem, I listened to it every night to help me sleep for literally years. Never thought I’d hear this mix again. Thank you so much
58:50 "I dont suppose we'll ever see them again" says Frodo. To which Sam replies: " We may yet, Mr. Frodo, we may..." And the movie ends, as Frodo and Sam walks towards Mordor after gazing at the Eye from a great distance. The fellowship had just been broken, and they were on their own.
@@gumbyno5808 Isn't your natural immune system, built for 100 years, a wonderful thing? It is as if our natural immune system functions for this very purpose, with no medical interventions required. Bed rest and letting the fever do its thing. Wow-a-wee-wa. Oh yes, these things happen and will continue to happen, and keep yourself and others away from [cough] unneeded medical interventions [cough].
Howard Shore's compositions are yet another part of the magic of Peter Jackson's work. The casting; the dialogue; subtle humor, heroism against all odds, and plausibility even with the changes that were made, as everything was a tribute to Professor Tolkien.
