Probably because the male peacocks feathers and created to strike fear towards their predators.

Well, tai lung and kai are tragic in their own way. However, shen was much more personal as many people feel pushed away, betrayed, and hated. Some people do indeed act violently or negativly to those emotions. What makes shen such a good bad guy was that he was one of the most human characters in the entire series. He also looks dope as hell.

@@jammygamer8961 ooooh yeah. I've heard about this chameleon. In my opinion, we should let Shen where he is : his character has met a pretty decent conclusion. But for the idea of a shapeshifting, I can't wait to see what explanation we'll have for him knowing about Shen, Kai and Tai Lung.

Tai lung is what happens when you fill a person with unfulfilled promises of glory, along with hopes and dreams, and let those intensify after decades of isolation. Shen is what happens when you crush them.
