Re: Reaching older audiences... I'm in my early 40s. I grew up listing to Run DMC and UTFO, and the Fat Boys when I was a tiny little kid in the mid 80s... Then when I was a little older I discovered NWA, Cypress Hill, etc etc. Last week Pimp Socks randomly shows up in my RU-vid feed. And intrigued by the title (and tbh also the thumbnail of a kid who looks a lot like I did at 18 lol) I clicked out of curiosity... I think I listened to that song a dozen times straight that day, before I put on the rest of his two albums. Instant fan. So if dude is trying to get respect from older fans, whatever he's doing seems to be working, far as I'm concerned...
