@James Blake No life but big churches and rich pastors. Once a young preacher came to L.Ravenhill to great him. L.R. asked the preacher: Do you know God? The preacher could have answered: I have a degree or I am ordained... But the question was and still is: DO YOU KNOW GOD?
Lord, I am a wretched sinner saved by grace. Have mercy on my soul, Lord; grant me the will to obey your word and do as you say. Lord teach me to pray.
We don’t her much of this preaching anymore. Convicting preaching that makes you really think and digs deep into the soul. Lord help those who hear this preaching. Teach us to pray. Bring us closer to you and forgive us for neglecting you.

Prayer is speaking straight to the ear of the living God in prayer is getting lost in his arms praying in the Holy Spirit is actually speaking directly to his heart
Ravenhill sure is needed more than ever today, I love his work and listen to him often and I’m not even Christian as the church and people you find “praying” there today call it.

I love Leonard Ravenhill's sermons on prayer. So much, listening to them moved me to make videos on prayer and prayer mentality. He was a real man of God!
You can go to a place in prayer where you feel the sin and pain of someone who's sick or see the men or women with hard hearts. Hear the groans of their soul and the cries of ones agony in soul. Because they are going to Hell. Of Jesus take me back to that place!!!!! Oh God help us your church. Wake us up that we might stop this nonsense of more money better houses bigger cars. Oh how shall we look great how seductive we look as women oh God all the while people are dying and going to hell make us so sensitive we hear our next-door neighbors crying out in the spirit make us you Church like Jesus. Oh God take me back to that place!!!!!

I didn't know anyone still prayed like that today. If you have known that place of prayer... please... please return. Oh please! No one prays. So many think they pray but they don't really pray. Wait thou only upon God! Remember that He always answers. Wait. Just wait. It may take a week or a month or a year... just wait. God will come.

The disciple said, "LORD, teach us to pray." He didn't say, "LORD, teach us how to pray." He said, "LORD, teach us to pray." We don't just need to learn how to pray. We need to learn to pray. For one to pray constantly, he/she needs to be determined and passionate about conversating and develop intimacy with God. He/she must go after God's own heart. One must learn to love what God loves and hate what God hates. One needs the FIRE OF GOD and allow it to BURN IN HIS/HER OWN HEART AND SOUL.

The preacher says: Lets pray! Then the preacher prays. Nobody else has permission to pray. Nobody else has permission to take part in anything. Except: giving money to the "church". Paul says: 1 Corinthians 14:26: How is it then, brethren? when you come together, every one of you has a psalm, has a doctrine, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
Josh Zepnick I've been thinking about that since last night. I was reading about payson after u gave me the name. At the end of this one summary it said he was so humble from hrs of bible study and prayer everyday that God could trust him with his power. His church grew soo fast, and it was because of his intercession. I dont know if I can do anything remotely as godly as that. But I want to.
