@@mikaelgauslaa5547 The first target had a huge t4 count but still couldn't cap with the full comp lol This one is surprising; 3 gold ranged heroes on wall (unless they changed them after the scout, and with the caveat that one of them was boommeister) but the full backline still fails to cap a cav blast. The huge target's t2 were also definitely doing sizeable damage (if they only had this t4 without the t2 it is doubtful they could even cap WhiteArmy's solo) but it seems to be capped in total damage output somehow. Still unsure how this works.

A dude with 1k levels and 100 blessed walked back from me like 2-3 weeks ago with an inf blast, and I have like 600% mix, 3x600% pact 5 and a full set of army heroes on wall. Unfortunately I only had 45% cav to inf counter at the time and half of this guys t4 count, but still.... The big boy didn't do any damage with those t2, the walk back was HUUUUGE. There isn't any sort of damage cap involved here. People usually talk about damage caps in the sense that above a certain threshold, adding more troops has diminishing returns on damage done to the trap.
@@mikaelgauslaa5547 Do you think they would still do 1.89m damage to the rally if they deleted their 20m each backline t2 but everything else were identical (including the 60m t2 ranged)? Or if not, how is that consistent with the t2 doing no damage? Clearly their damage output was nowhere near enough to cap, and the only obvious culprit is their t4 count being too low for their stats, heroes, familiars, etc. But I don't believe that their t4 alone, even with its damage output being held constant by the huge wall of frontline t2, can damage a good inf blast anywhere near this much with purple gear. Anecdotally, I've capped A7med9's (2.375m and closer to 50% t5) inf-on-ranged-phalanx counter with t4 around 2/2/2.6m, plus 900k-ish t3 cav, but quite a bit more t2 than the first defender and significantly less than the big one, gear about a grade higher in all slots, f2p heroes (incl. Watcher), all ranged protection proc familiars, and 33% cav-inf counter (blue Chronicler, adult jade). It did quite a bit more damage than I am used to but nowhere near either of these.

I sent pure inf solo blast with leader from my own account. I did it to kick garrison and to make him swap phalanx to cav. Because he could see inf march coming and think it is a rally lol. That is what I was thinking. When I saw that my solo failed against garrison I changed phalanx on WhiteArmt to dodge killing of buffers. By the way I was also clicking carpets in emulator on another acc 😂
@@OlegTheBestEng 100% thats why he swapped to cav, really smart move. maybe its not even that bad with range phal, you start killing his troops early and he does like no damage

He has so much hp as he can walk back easily plus everything maxed - the other guy was nowhere near as good he had bad gear and probably really little research and a bunch of t4 missing which lead to his demise (T5/T4 rallies are not a joke) especially when you get hit with 2.5 mil t5/t4 rally from a maxed out account, its like 1000% mix vs 400-500%
