Change the name of Moscow ....New Jerusalem or something like that. The casual nature of prayer in the beginning shocked him.

Ok, so how can a homeschool mom in another state sign up for an education like this? For themselves? 🙋🏽‍♀️😅

Sounds like you guys are closer than most to Rome Sweet Home. If you neglect the Social Doctrines of the Church in these discussions on living Christianity in culture, you are doing a disservice to your students. Blessings sisters and brothers of Moscow!

In his response beginning around 16:30, Dr. Longshore misses the entire point of Rev. DeYoung's article. The doctrines that the Moscow camp holds to like Postmillennialism and Kuyperianism are not the "Moscow Mood". The mood is the brashness, childishness, and disrespect that comes out in their public ministry. There are loads and loads of us who hold to confessional Reformed Theology, Postmillennialism, Kuyperianism, General Equity Theonomy, etc who cannot endorse the "mood" of the Moscow camp's public/online ministry.

...yeah, pretty sure the pharisees would've labeled Jesus as "brash, childish and disrespectful... 🤔

@@thegospellibertypodcast9481 Christ was very often brash, sin does not deserve respect, and the charge of childishness is usually leveled by those pseudo-Reformed modern evangelicals who are very concerned about being liked and accepted by goats and worldlings and have never read Luther, Calvin, Brooks, or Rutherford when engaging their enemies.

@@matthewdyer2926Christ was not brash/rude (1 Cor 13:5). Christ's wise, strong, tactful, and true words to the Pharisees do not give Christians license to "let loose" to all with their tongues. There is a difference between idolatrous people pleasing and being respectful to others as human beings. We must have a healthy and biblical concern about how truths are being communicated (Rom 12:17; 2 Cor 8:21; 1 Cor 10:33; 2 Tim 2:25; Titus 3:2; Titus 2:8; 1 Pet 3:15; Prov 15:23; Prov 16:21; Prov 25:11, Col 4:5-6, etc.). Outside of the very small Moscow bubble, both historically and currently, there is a myriad of us Postmillennial, Kuyperian, General Equity Theonomy, confessionally Reformed Christians who have indeed read and deeply respect the old Reformers you reference, and share the same sadness as Kevin DeYoung regarding the tone of much of the Moscow crew's online ministry. I know it is often dismissed by this crew as people who "just don't share our core doctrine", or aren't familiar with or committed to historic Reformed Theology, but once one steps outside of the small Moscow bubble (I recognize it is hard for many to do!), he will find that critique unpersuasive. God bless you!

Rigney said in 2016 that a vote for Trump was a vote FOR Roe v Wade. Does anyone know if he still holds this view?
