Michael Kaves from Lordz of Brooklyn :
Never before released video & song Baseball Bats & Beers. We originally recorded this track in 1991 for our first Lordz of Brooklyn Demo. After hooking up and touring with House of Pain, they jumped on the track. We recorded it at Firehouse Studio in Brooklyn, NY. The video was filmed in 1992 and is dedicated to our friend Bobby 'Boss' Nelson.

He did that all the time. Even when Muggs gave him the beat for Jump Around Everlast freestyled the lyrics in the studio. Supposedly he did numerous takes with different sets of lyrics each time

They said record companies didn't want to put it out bc House of Pain became famous and executives didn't think kids would like another white rap group. The Vanilla Ice backlash only happened a year before this song came out, so record companies were weary of all White rappers. However, House of Pain was different bc Everlast already had previous solo album out and music connections before the "Vanilla Ice is a fraud, so all White rappers must be too" thing happened...So House of Pain didn't have problems getting record deal

@@thismothafuckasaid7304 thanks for the info yeah i hear what saying i bought house of pains first album back when it came out in 1992 i remember them giving the lordz a shout out on all my love how the record companys could think this wouldn't of been liked by heads back in the day is beyond me far far from the corny vanilla ice shit! I loved the lordz all in the family album but man if they had of came out back then and made a album i could only imagen how off the scale it would of been big big shame us real heads have missed out big time on this!
